- All the goals between Hibernian and Rangers on the 25th July 2015 in the 1st round of the Petrofac Training Cup. Rangers ran out 6-2 winners in a truly remarkable goal-fest at Easter Road. It was Hibernian who struck first in this cup clash through a terrific strike from youngster Sam Stanton, however Rangers levelled the match through a sensational free-kick from new recruit James Tavernier. Rangers then took the lead thanks to Martyn Waghorn, another new signing to take a 2-1 lead into half time. Two minutes into the second half Waghorn grabbed his second and Rangers' third from a great drilled strike from the left hand side of the box. Hibs were awarded a dubious penalty later on and it was converted by Jason Cummings to drag Hibs back into the match at 2-3, however just two minutes later Rangers struck again through yet another new signing Andy Halliday, a terrific curved shot off the top of the bar and into the back of the net. Hibs continued to try and attack and had the ball in the net again through David Gray but he was ruled offside. Rangers then finished off Hibernian thanks to a late Kenny Miller double to sink the Edinburgh outfit.

5 years later and Tav is the only remaining player from this team, he's scored 16 goals before Christmas and we're unbeaten this season and 13 points clear in the league, what a personal journey for him and what a journey for our club.

There still hasn't been a more clinical performance than this one under Warburton. Everyone was eager to please and show Warburton that they deserved a starting spot and we were relentless. Now, we just seem to fall off after 1 goal and it costs us because we're not head and shoulder above the rest anymore.
