Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Its 20$, so chances are it was unintentional. Even if it were intentional, would they really think you actually noticed and were too afraid to mention it? No, because chances are you probably wouldnt fucking notice it when counting over it that quick. That also translates into oratory. Only say what needs to be said, nothing more, nothing less, just the exact amount of oration necessary to reach the tactical end. Would he even bother counting or would he see the huge bag of cash, trust that he had been paid in full and happily move on? Would he make the deal now, count the money at home and then next time insist that he get that missing 20? And yes, how would he deal with it if he found out immediately. But he still somehow wants Nacho to think he is out of the loop. So you're saying he wants everyone to think he's out of the loop and also that he isn't out of the loop at the same time.
And no one would anyway suspect him if Nacho went missing. He has nothing to gain by that. Tuco could kill him if he found out about this side hustle. And even if, let's say some rival gang took him out, no one's going to look at him in that case either because no one other than Nacho and Pryce know about this deal.

Like with the shorted 20. They did that on purpose to test pryce. Mike called them out and nacho, seeing how tuco is, probably thought trying to be confrontational would help ateer the situation in his favor, but mike knows this trick and is like nope just was an accident moat likely so nobody can claim they were insulted

Frightening how many people can be genuinely sympathetic to the excuses for evil. Mike has redefined 'good' so that his own life won't generally fall outside of it, despite all the abhorrent things he's done. For him, he thinks that can be ignored, as long as what proceeds from it is 'honest', despite that 'honesty' being fraudulent and its meaning elusive (Ultimately illusory), and the whole concept of 'good' he espouses being contradictory.
