The album is more her saying "I don't care what you say and do, I'm still going to be myself and do what I do, and stop ruining my name and image." I feel like in those days, people are really that well out to ruin people's image. I was feeling it too as well in those days as well. Like Britney spears, to Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, to Michael Jackson. Just a couple. Now for MJ, he made a song called Privacy for his album Invincible which is about getting to papaprazzi to leave him alone and respect his privacy.

Wendy William's hated Whitney! She proved that on her radio show over and over again and Never played her music dispite requests, which got a lot if people talking about Wendy. I remember thinking that she was inlove with whitney and suffering from some juvenile jealous rage. The fact is that whitney did not have a big radio presence in NYC back then. Besides WW hate for her. Nippys music was labeled not black enough (by Wendy and others) despite her power vocals, Gospel roots, NJ roots, the love she tried to show the Apollo theatre, Nyc black radio was hard on her! At some point Whitney felt that being around Bobby brown would give her street cred that critics often said she needed. Even though wendy says she loved whitney and apologized to her,(on her show after whitney died) its still odd that Wendy was guilty of doing exactly what she accused Whitney of and resented her for. Media is supposed to be unbiased.....IJS.

It's not about misjudging her. The judgement was spot on . I remember painfully watching the videos from this album in horror. Her thin gaunt appearance was just a precursor to her unraveling life and career. The best make up artists couldn't hide the fact something was terribly wrong. Such a terrible waste of pure talent. Yes we need to call out anyone who is wasting their life on drugs and destroying everyone in their path. No one should be exempt from scrutiny just because they are famous. Sometimes we need a knot jerked in our tail to humble us and bring us back to reality.
