This song takes my breath away and brings in good 'ol memories from the year that was 2002. Back when R&B was irresistibly delectable like hot fudge ice cream dessert and you could never get enough of it. Not to mention it being the pop music during its era. The beat is so tantalizing and the harmonies are simply vibey here. Love Whitney during her "Just" (2002) & "My Love" (1998) eras. Her fashion was on point as an added bonus. Love this song

It's really a shame what happened with this album. After MLYL and the Greatest Hits, Whitney was primed for another massive hit album, but the focus on her personal life and L.A. Reid's incompetence ruined this era. Whatchulookinat was the wrong choice for a single and should never have been included on the album to begin with. If One of Those Days had been released in the late summer/fall of 2002 as the first single and properly promoted by Arista, this album would have taken off. There are some really underrated gems on the album - Love That Man (recalls the feel-good 80's era Whitney on How Will I Know/I Wanna Dance With Somebody), Dear John Letter, Try It On My Own (the grown up version of Greatest Love Of All), Unashamed (this song was able to address the issues Whitney was getting off her chest in Whatchulookinat in a classier fashion), and You Light Up My Life (I know I'm probably in the minority here and this track gets a lot of hate, but this had potential to be Whitney's adult contemporary/crossover ala I Will Always Love You from this album). Vocally, Whitney was still killing it at this time and in videos like this she looked beautiful and youthful.
