Hello. How does one get playmat with borders that say where stuff go?
@@altiboxtv9570Amazon
Keith's coin flipping is the exact reason most people roll dice now for coin flips lol
Is dice rolling usually allowed at events? Not going to lie, the coin flipping thing is a HUGE turnoff as someone looking to get into the game, lol
@@adamj93 most tournament/games are run with dice now tbh, you just pick odd/even instead of heads/tails.
ive been to quite a few events in the last year and only one used coins but they did allow dice if you preferred it
@@Drako_RSi
@@adamj93How come? 🤔
@@hesketh7085 Constantly flipping coins is just annoying and takes longer than rolling a die.
The fact that Keith loves radiohead and pokemon and 🍃👌.... he is truly a gift
Crazy you got Grant from Collegehumor on your show!
No, that is Keith from Try Guys.
Did not expect keith to be in an ign video
Shoutout to Next-Gen Games, my former employer! That card shop is so chill and fun. Great FLGS if you're in the LA area.

Its so cool you invited Grant from Collagehumor to play Pokemon TCG
How tall is Grant, anyway?

Yes Teach us more TCG IGN
That shuffle was torture to witness
Right?! My heart screamed 😂
Man this looks fun to play! 😊
So if you go second you can attack on your first turn? The person that goes first can not attack on their first turn?
Watching this was an experience
Looks fun to play! :)
more of this pls
That was fun. ☺️☺️☺️
Game looks fun ❤
Nice video,no one on earth has a 30 min video on how to play Bakugan TCG,,,it’s sooooo needed
That was fun to watch. Question after you attack with your pokemon do you lose the energy card attached to it?
Some attacks require you to remove all or some energy, but otherwise no you don’t.
@@philadrian7618 oh ok thanks!
Nope. Only if it states it.
@@philadrian7618 so you take those energy cards into your hand if it doesn't state?
@@chibidragon4047 nope. They will stay attached to the Pokémon.
Hello. How does one get playmat with borders that say where stuff go?
Hey this guy from the try guy
Please do Lorcana next!
Thanks
I’m confused at around 10:30 does he evolve for the second time that turn? Or can you only evolve EACH Pokémon once per turn?
you are allowed to evolve as often as you like per turn but you can only evolve each individual Pokémon once per turn.
@@Hauki336 unless, of course rare candy comes into play. But that’s a whole other story
@@Sebsince1981 true lol
Choose your side Groudon or Kyogre
How many cards can you keep in your hand minimum . Is there supposed to be a certain number and do you draw if you are not at that number?
You can have no cards left in hand if I'm not misstanken. The first thing you do each turn is to draw a card from the deck. However, if there are no cards left in the deck then you lose the game.
I’m new here so I’m trying to learn how to play
A 9 year old, just learning the game, he has a question. If a player is not allowed to attack on the first turn, why was the second player allowed to attack with a sting on his first turn?
The rule is: the first player on his first turn cant attack. If you go second on the first turn you can.
10:15 are you allowed to evolve 2 pokemons? (Active & benched) cause he did. And also added another pokemon to bench
And can you make your deck before the game or it is random always?
Where do you buy those playmats?
This isn't Eat the Menu; what the hell Keith!
10:33 Evolves a second pokemon in the same turn?
You can
@@TheElliottStar Hows that work? Is it because its the same named card or is the restriction that one pokemon can only be evoled once?
@@CoenCritcho you can evolve as many eligible Pokemon in your turn as you want. Only one stage though.
So you can evolve as many pokemon per turn? but each one can only be evolved once per turn?
Did he attack on his first turn with wurmple or xoes that rule only apply to whomever goes first and not each players first turn?
it only applies to the person who goes first
@@29396 wow so confused, cause at the beginning he says that the person that goes first can make the first meaningful attack. So the person that goes 2nd can actually attack first...but its not "meaningful"? what's the difference? what does this mean?
Can you play pokemon cards in tournaments with graded cards?
Probably no because they would stick out like crazy with the rest of your deck
@@Djidgygrade the whole deck, duh
machamp had an ability that would double its hp but they didn't use it
Do the same but with MTG
It's getting confuse now.
One in the comment told we can evolve as many stage we like in a turn but only to One Pokemon.
The other one told we can evolve multi Pokemon either active or bench but only one stage per turn.
Which is true. Im new in this game. And my son likes to learn play it. Thanks.
Each Pokemon can only evolve once a turn. A Pokemon cannot evolve in the same turn it is first played. Besides these rules, you can evolve as many times as you can
Thats Grant Right
Thought that was a young Seb vettel
When a Pokémon is knocked out, does a benched Pokémon automatically become active? Player choice on their turn?
Also if a Pokémon knocks themself out e.g. they damage themselves when attacking, does the opponent get a prize?
yes, the player whose pokemon was knocked out gets to choose which of their benched pokemon becomes active afterwards
and if a pokemon knocks itself out, then yes, the opponent gets a prize card :)
Dope
So retreat removes confusion, but does not remove the poison?
because in real life, we can remove confusion by resting but poison can only be removed by antidote
Can you evolve multiple pokemon per turn?
Yea you can do as many as you want
10:15 how come he evolved two pokemon in one turn?
You can actually evolve as many as you want in one turn on bench or active spot.
Keith Habersberger
At 9 minutes how was he able to bench, attach energy and attack all in one go?
How do you play Pokémon? Open a pack of cards and then ask your mom for more money.
Anyone here because the Zach diss in the gift video?
The Try Guys try Pokemon TCG?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🤙🏻
Your should do a yugioh let’s play lol xD
Keith playing Pokemon??
Hey wait! One of the turns he evolves 2 pokemon in a turn
you can evolve as many pokemon (that are eligible) as you want, but each pokemon can only evolve once per turn (unless there’s a specific ability that says otherwise)
You evolved twice in a turn 10:12-10:34! Unless the discard hand gives you a “second turn”. Then you evolved 2 pokemon in one turn again 14:54
you are allowed to evolve as often as you like per turn but you can only evolve each individual Pokémon once per turn.
How tall is this guy anyway ?
Didn’t know grant o’brien played Pokémon
Pokemon
Zoinks
15:34 in Darksouls terms he just gave him toxic lmao
Still confused how to play 😢
they’re both G’s
Coming from MTG, Professor's Research seems like a broken card lol
What was up with the dustox giving 80 damage for the confused poison??
8 damage counters
cant you only evolve 1 pokemon per turn and the guy with the horses evolved his pokemon 2 times in 1 turn isnt he chaeting?
basically solitaire
why did keith draw on his first turn
They were playing at next-gen
games
never played the game but professors research seems like a really broken card
how many yugioh, mtg, pokemon, digimon player cringed every time grant shuffled his deck xD
Jewster been in front my house before get over here help me
NNNEEERRRRDDD 😂
Huh
this "noob" knew exactly how to play lol
This dude learning is quite cringey
*Sassy
You don’t get a penalty for not having a basic Pokémon.
Keith is the very definition of a loud american..
One of the best intro videos on Pokémon TCG, but Keith is annoying AF.
The guy learning is insufferable.
Nothing like 2 flaming homosexuals teaching us how to play Pokémon. 😂
Nothing like reading comments from dumb heterosexuals who want to make everything sexualized
These personalities are intensely painful to watch.
It's the result of their low testosterone levels.
Guys one feedback, pls if you can avoid screaming like this during the video, im trying to listen but it's so painful sometimes.
Dude teaching the game evolved two Pokémon on one turn. What a cheater
You can
You can goofy. You only can’t evoke the same Pokémon twice in one turn
Yugioh TCG better😴
Having played both competitively... Pokemon is better and it's not even close =p
@Joshua Yehl got any titles under your belt?
Such a terrible game. No wonder no one plays it.
Boring !
