What actually happened is, the fabric of a Palestinian flag brushed her face as a protester was peacefully walking by.
He wasn't even looking at her.
It wasn't intentional, and she absolutely was never stabbed.
But, as soon as the fabric touched her, she started screaming over and over again that she'd been stabbed in the eye.
Yes, she chose to go to the hospital.
But it was never medically necessary.
If the doctor had told her that her eye was injured in any way, even the smallest scratch of the cornea, if she required medical treatment of any kind, ointment or an eye patch for example, she absolutely would have mentioned it in the interview.
But she said nothing of the kind, because she was completely uninjured and could provide no evidence that she was.

It's rather cowardly of Fox not to show the video. This woman has some impressive pain resistance. She was filming the whole time. At one point a man with a Palestinian flag walks past her and she says "Ow ow, you stabbed me." Now we don't actually see the flag touch her eyes, but she holds that camera impressively straight for someone who's in the process of being stabbed in the eye. I saw the video of the incident in question and this is a very dishonest representation of the the events that occurred. The young lady was indeed hit in the eye, yes, but the video shows a young man in one of those scarves walking by as she records. As the young man walks by he moves his flag in front of her camera. The motion was very gentle. Not to minimize the fact that she was indeed hit, or to minimize the pain she may have actually endured, but they are playing this as if the guy walked up and maliciously and intentionally jabbed her in the eye. Does she have the right to be there and report on it? Yes indeed. Does she have the right to do so without being attacked? Again, yes indeed. But she wasnt attacked nor did it seem intentional.
