Ladies..... I have watched, literally, dozens of video tours of Tokyo Disney Sea. The two of you provided more info in the 1st 40 minutes than all of them! You introduced entire new areas... the S.E.A. challenge was amazing! WONDERFUL!!!!❤❤
I’m with Emma. Journey to the Center of the Earth is one of the most amazing rides Disney has put out. That animatronic before being launched is insanely cool!

The park looked amazing! Having a huge volcano as the centerpiece is so cool. The rides are so unique and themed really well. The Duffy and friend’s merchandise is so cute. The show at the end looked so beautiful! Definitely a perfect day! Thanks for sharing.

I'm only halfway through the vlog right now and I already have to comment. I couldn't wait till the end! I am floored by DisneySea!! Epcot is my favorite park, and this looks like Japan's Epcot but even better. I've been to Japan twice but not the Disney parks. Seeing you guys experience it for the first time, and Emma getting emotional...this vlog alone was worth becoming a subscriber to this channel. ❤
You guys are so cute. Long trips and constant togetherness can sometimes have its issues even with the best of friends, but you guys look like you’re having a ball!
This is my bucket list trip, Japan and both Tokyo Disney parks. Those crowds though, I thought Disney here in the US got ridiculous but it looks like that seemingly every day in the Japanese parks.
I want to go to Japana for Disney but also for the Arcades!!!! There are Arcade games NOT AVAILABLE in the USA
Seeing the 20,000 lieges ride reminds me of childhood memories riding it at Disney World many years ago.

As someone who grew up in Orlando, I love your WDW videos. As someone who lives across the street from TDLR it is so awesome to see you guys in my neighbourhood! Epcot and DisneySea are my favourite disney parks.
Also, check out the genre of merch that is “things you can already find / and buy in the park, but different”.
For example, you can buy toys shaped like the vending machines, trash cans, balloons, snacks etc.
I wish they would implement that in the US parks.
These Tokyo videos have been so much fun to watch. And as a huge Sherlock fan (my favorite show of all time), I love the "mind palace" comment by Quincy.
I am so sad I missed the premiere! I tried to stay awake until 10am - did not make! So excited for everything! One of my childhood dreams was as staying at a hotel that is literally in the theme park! If they had one at MK, I swear people would be willing to spend 10k per night. 😂

My first look at any videos of this place and it is awesome. Would love to go someday! As for the language barrier, it would be nice if Disney could use their tech magic to overcome that in all their parks around the world. They could use the park app to locate you pretty precisely (they do this with the magic bands in the parks as is) and when an announcement or show starts, they could have audio play for you on your device thru your headphones. That way you can enjoy the story, but not disturb other guests who are enjoying it just fine. This should not be a big jump for them, given all they have accomplished and would be appreciated by so many.

Loved the Duffy merch. I have the pre-Duffy version when it was The Disney Bear with a completely different backstory and little backstory books were attached. Looks like an amazing time.

I’ve so enjoyed your coverage of this trip. I do love the gaming videos as well. I have a question is Tokyo Disneyland ECV friendly. It’s a must for my poor old body but I noticed lots of stairs everywhere.
Quincy looked out onto Mysterious Island with the eyes of a DM who has just discovered their next D&D campaign. .
As someone who did experience the original 20,000 leagues ride in DW this looks FAR more slick, there was a squid and captain nemo like the book by verne, but the ride was built outdoors iirc so there wasnt.....the amount of cool lighting effects and blacklight things that it looks like disneysea has. I also vaguely remember the storyline taking place over several months and having "bubble transitions" over the windows to take you to different sea scenes, but it has been a while since the ride! Great video!
Tokyo 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is very similar to Disney Worlds one (R.I.P). I was lucky enough to go on it right before it closed down. Even though I was young I have an incredible memory and remember every bit of it. Loved it and just walking by and looking at it was so cool. The water with the “submarines” sooo neat!

Fortress Exploration! The home of SEA
there are 3 S.E.A attractions (or 4 if you include the restaurant) that has SEA lore in disneysea, fortress exploration, soaring, tower of terror (the owner is member of SEA), and Magellan's restaurant which is meeting place of members of SEA.
Toy story gets soooo busy…when they still had physical fast passes even that had like an hour line or more

As a child of the 80s I would watch 20,000 leages on the Disney Channel and I road 20,000 leagues at Magic Kingdom and both had a giant squis that attacked. The ride had the lost city of Atlantis too.
This a huge bucket list for me but I would find watching the night show through bars frustrating, could barely see if there were characters on the boats.
The Hidden Mickey on the crane to Quincy's right in the Jules Verne section was making me crazy the whole time we watched her speaking to Emma.
This is the coolest trip! This is on my bucket list! Where did you both stay and how long were you there for??
That spinner looked like it was at an angle, so it probably always lands on the bottom option. If it was flat, different story.
Huge fan of S.E.A lore
The original Disney World 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea was a a vehicle that looks similar to the large sub, I think they call it the Gaijin Ghost, only smaller with multiple, small windows (not pods). It loaded multiple people, similar to a boat ride like pirates, but you would be seated along benches of seats that were parallel to the sides, and you would look out the small windows. The ride, if I am remembering correctly, would go under a small waterfall feature and you would get the sensation of submersion with small air bubbles being released along the windows. I do not remember anything too spectacular about it other than getting caught by a giant squid and then escaping.
20,00 Leagues Under the Sea is a similar ride system to Peter Pan’s Flight! And you aren’t actually under water at all.

We moved from the Sheraton to the Disney hotels after our first night! We have a hotels video with room tours of all of our stays coming next week!

It makes sense that they want rides empty when the park closes. Most people who live in Japan don’t have a car, so people need to get home before trains shut down for the night.

da Vinci is one of the founders of the Society of Explorers and Adventures. American park goers are just impatient; we, Japanese park goers wait 150-200 minutes for Soring and Toy Story Maina without complaining about the wait time every time

I'd say yes! There were a few rides that were tight for me and I'm 175cm. Not uncomfortable but I think if you were much taller, things could get wonky. -Q

Curious for Quincy’s take as to whether the Tokyo tower is more like Disneyland or Disneyworld? I found I agreed with Quincy completely on the difference between tower of terror and the guardians tower when it came to motion sickness
It's honestly right in the middle of the two! It's like Tower of Terror in Disneyland but NOT like the Guardians version. I had no motion sickness problems.

Please explain why some rides can't be filmed.
It's all safety reasons! Tokyo Disney has a big focus on safety and there are a lot of rules to that effect so sometimes Cast Members will tell you no filming or photos on rides.
I like how spacious the park seems, but I'm stumped by it takes so long to get food. They seem to have accounted for large crowds everywhere else but food service. Very odd.
