i have the exact same filter and after replacing it, my water dispenser no longer works. If i pop the filter out the water flows normal, so i know i have good water pressure. but when i snap the filter back in.. its clogged and water barely drizzles out. any suggestions?
Just replaced mine following the same instructions given... no water coming out. If i use the old filter, it works. Are these filters defective? The one I'm replacing is a PUR brand and no issues. The Whirlpool which is the same brand as the refrigerator is not working.
Hi where do I get another Black cap mine was missing when I brought the home. Also I tested that water it comes up really up on dirty scale. I also have a water softener in home. Thanks for your help

Why don’t you show how to line up filter going into fridge! This is an incomplete installation. Why don’t you put arrows on filters AND on the fridge to make it EASY to line up. Terrible design flaw. Plus there’s no mention you have to press a button to reactivate the filter. At least on mine you have to. I finally figured out but every time it’s an issue.

Don't forget to flush the line with about 3 qt of water it also prevents air lock in line. I'm just a consumer hope that helps.
