I have a lil problem with my fridge hope you can help me brother . It has been a week since it started beeping . I thought it was a filter so I went and change my filter . Nothing happened still beeping do you know what the problem might be ?
I got the exact refrigerator, and bout the exact filter replacement. I got all the way until you insert the filter in the housing and turn. It only turns maybe 20 degrees, not a full 90. I have tried and tried and tried. It won't go and not budging. it works without the filter but id much rather have one in. Any suggestions? The manual is no help nor is customer service. Id rather not pay a hefty appliance repair guy.
In the unlikely ever you’re still having issues with this, or someone else sees this, you need to make sure the notches on the filter are facing upward before installing
Video did not capture the key portions of filter as you kept talking and video captured lower portion instead of filter area. It was helpful but could have been much better.

A Kenmore filter equivalent can be purchased on eBay for approximately $10
How do you dispose off the old filter?

What if the water filter is stuck and doesn’t come out?
It may have been installed incorrectly but you may be to work it out carefully. Be careful not to break anything
