Very clean - hard to find car - and not all painted Orange and over the top. Take Note Firebird People: Stock wheels and LEVEL front to rear...not jacked up 6"- - So muscular and quintessential Pontiac Muscle. Really nicely presented!
Let me win the lotto tonight, then I will buy that. I had a 71 Espirit 350 two barrel, three speed on the floor (factory). I bought that in 1973 used, it had 20,000 miles. Best car I ever had. I beat the dog out of that car. I was 19. You know I beat it up. Same color, dark McQ green, beige interior. What a great car. I could squeal the tires in all three gears and I did, quite often.
I gotta say there was something about the Esprit 2 Barrel cars...We did the same back in the day with a rusty 72, it went like a scalded cat! spin spin spin! Had a buddy at work relay same experience with Esprit 350 2 Barrel said it was the fastest car he was in back in the day, and he had a 64 GTO!
Back in the day, the early Trans Ams were thought by many to be over the top. So some buyers chose these beautiful, tasteful Formula birds instead. Question - I thought all HO cars had functional ram air. But the idle on this one sounds like a true HO.
No, to me a rear spoiler then has to have the rest of the doo dahs to go with it, thus essentially a Trans Am. This Formula is beautiful, sleek, and unhindered as is.
Beautiful either way I say! But leave this jewel alone as it came out of the factory. I bought my 73 Trans am with SD-455 4sp all original back in 79 when I was 19 years old and two years later I took all the original equipment from engine off to make it faster and now I regret that cause all the parts I removed are gone. 😂
Owning an early 2nd Gen is on my bucket list

The mighty 455 in a gorgeous early 70s Firebird, also a very nice 🇺🇸 neighborhood

Sounds fantastic ❤
Best of luck 🍀
Yes it does! Those big 'ole pistons sound so good!
My dream car, top of the list
I saw one, and have pictures from a car show this past summer. It was yellow. Sweet ride..🤙
BEAUTIFUL

@clevlandblock all the Firebirds with dual exhausts sounded like that - even our Esprit with a 350. Pontiac had the best pipe benders in the business.
I'd have to have a shaker hood set up, to swap out every now and then. I love this body style, with and without a rear spoiler.
It’s a Formula!🤡
Sweet!👍
Beautiful car. Weren’t all 455 HO’s Ram Air? And I thought the Formulas had a blacked out grill.
That car is sexy as F!😊
There are leaves on the trees and he is in shorts and a t-shirt. That's not what I call a cold start. Wait for the snow and ice.
Awesome car! I had a 71 Camaro same color. Just a 305 V-8 but nonetheless a great car!
Maybe it was a 307 the 305 came out later.
@@markg7030 My bad. It was a 307. Great little engine with fantastic fuel economy for its time.
I wouldn’t Sleep at Night owning a Car like this in Such a Dodgy Neighbourhood!
They look so weird without the flaired tail... I would add it.
Too bad it's not the T/A package
They were the rage when I was in highschool. nowadays I would rather have a tesla.
Another muscle car video with no burnout 🙄
Looks weird without rear spoiler! It need one!
Speak for yourself, it looks beautifully sleek as it is
@@Foxfloop Agreed!
