- Motor Coach Operator VLOG. Day trip to the Windy City.
There are many motor coach drivers out on the road every day. These are the things i enjoy doing when I am out on a trip. I love eating foods, especially exotic stuff from different countries. My job allows me to adventure into the different food scenes of many different cities in the U.S.
This was my first traveling VLOG. I will get better as time goes on. Right now I need to invest in some good video and sound equipment. They are expensive so give me some time. Forgive some of the poor video quality and bad camera work. I promise it will get better with time.
Anything i say on my Vlog does not represent the views of the company I work for. They are solely my opinions and preferences.

Just came from your new Video. Look at you how far you made it, now being the CEO of the company you were driving for 5 years ago
Where did you grow up at? You know the roads and cornfields so well. I am sooo homesick!
Nice! I got a chuckle out of the whole, I was hands free while driving. Ah, I see you were driving with your knees LOL. I can say things now, but I used to record while drive back when recording was a pain. I still have those potato cam videos lol. When I was deadheading, I would tape an earbud to the bus pa system, and crank some music since the MC9 didnt have all the fancy stereos (ours were commuters). But it was still a nice 1 hr drive back to the garage for some routes, like it was a car.
My goodness that store was really cool, those prices tho! 😯
I just came across your channel. I was led here by your other one. Pretty cool how easily you wheel through Chicago in such a large bus. I always wondered what tour bus drivers do during their down time. Nice content.
Thank you! Appreciate your comment and your views on both channel!
What? A Chicago Hot Dog with no Mustard? James!!!!!! (Jerry, alias Scorpio)
Lol yeah I know. Blastphony
Enjoyed the video. Two hot dogs and a poke chop sammich.....wow!
I have a bit of a appetite lol
In Seattle, Chinatown is now called the Internatiional District since it has a pan Asian population now.
Of course its always the restaurant ha ha 😂
For a first time travel vlog, you did a great job. I just hit the subscribe button, and can't wait for more vlogs, especially since I'm leaving trucking and joining the ranks of motor coach driver.
Hey Trucker! Thanks for the kind and encouraging words. And welcome to the Motor coach side of things. I hope your adventures are filled with good times! Be safe out there and maybe ill bump into you one day!
That would be cool. We run a lot of locals, but we have 48 state authority and will go wherever someone wants to book a charter.
...how's all that downtime working out for you? I drive in California and love it 💯 San Francisco is a breeze 🤪
@@thesehere not all that well. As if 2020 and the pandemic weren't enough, I injured my shoulder and needed rotator cuff surgery. Now I'm on the mend for that. So I may not get behind the wheel of a bus or truck again until December.
Winnipeg has a Chinatown as well
Seatbelt optional? 👍🏽😂😂😂
Good video!
Hey William. Thanks for your post! Im glad you enjoyed the video 😊. I was wearing my seat belt. This coach only had the lap seat belt and not the over the shoulder belt. I always wear my seat belt.
Safety first.
BTW, there is a chain of hot dog restaurants in Chicagoland called Portillos. What do you think of it? I drove by several of them last July but never stopped by.
James I think they call that a Chicago dog. On interstate 57 just south of the city in a little suburb called University Park there is a Petro stopping Center and a pilot Travel Center on the east side of interstate 57 I want to say it's exit 333 don't call me but from the pilot you can walk over there's a cat there she makes phenomenal Chicago Dogs, Family owned and operated. It's named after daughter. I'll put Linkin next comment
You had me at 7UP!
LOL thanks Navapol for the comment
Good content man! Down to earth guy. I hope your channel blows up!
Hey thank you for your comment. I appreciate it man. Thanks for the good vibes 😊
I totally agree. You have almost 900 sub with just a few videos with tons of views. You should have way more than that but you will get there easily at the pace you are going.
I am still working on my vlogging confidence. I know that can make a bigger difference when you can successfully verbally connect to your audience.
I know this is an old video but where did you get the ear piece and what’s the name of it.
James what was the question that the female passenger asked when you asked the bus if anybody has any more questions for you? I cannot make it out
Jims original. I have to check it out now. I want to try those peppers so bad lol. This is my third time adding to this post lol, fid u just eat half of the pepper right away, my man now i do that too. Now i have to eat there 😂
You should most definitely check that place out! They got some good grub!
What really surprised me was how delicious the fries were.
I have a question. Where did you mount the camera for the driving sequence? I want to show some perspective in my videos, since unlike a truck, there is no hood. I really like the view from over your shoulder, and want to do similar in my videos.
Hey Trucker. I bought a bendable tripod so that i could mount my camera practically anywhere. On the J4500 Model coach i drove on this trip, I wrapped the legs of the tripod to the rails behind the driver to my left. The link of the tripod is here:
www.amazon.com/Shapeable-Octopus-Portable-Adjustable-Universal/dp/B0792XBCK7/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1528226915&sr=8-20&keywords=bendable+tripod
They are very handy to have.
I've seen GoPro's version and wasn't impressed, but this one is nice! And quite reasonable, too. I think I might have to order one. Thanks much for responding!
what the song name in this video? i like the choices you choose.
Hey Albert. Thanks man. I list all the names and artists of the songs i use down in the description box.
Did you get a tip ?
What type of group was it
In Seattle, Chinatown is now called the International District since it has a pan Asian population now of 6% a year.
Gotta be Politically correct. LOL
James, aren’t you ever worried about eating all these things and it not agree to well with you and like give you gas or 😳, you know what I mean 😂.
Do YT videos no longer display date of posting, or is that the author's choice?
Hmm. I dont have the option. Im not sure. Some videos I see the date of posting and some I dont on other channels.
@@JWangvlogs So how to do feel about dating your work? How old is this one?
Did you get a tip ?
