I’m pretty if you listen closely! In the Final Cut he does actually say “here” in “say hello to my little friend” but it’s so faint and low it’s almost like you can’t hear it but it was so perfect they had to use it.
The more I see these clips, the 30 mins of deleted footage from the movie, I realize what a masterpiece of movie this is. There are so many movies that just should not be modernized, and Scarface (1983) should be one of them. I know there was an original scarface with Paul Muni and respect to it, but the 1983 Scarface is on another level.
Interesting fact. Al burned his hands badly on the grenade launcher on this scene and went to the hospital. His actress girlfriend at the time was Kathleen Quinlan who screamed at the director Brian Depalma for not schooling Al on safety. Brian said, we figured he knew everything. He’s Al Pacino, the tough guy. Kathleen told Brian, he doesn’t know anything about guns or being tough. He doesn’t even know how to drive a car!
Agree, I like that these outtakes show cases all the different Tony Montanas Moods, like energetic, exhausted and the last original which fits Tony, the rage and outburst to threats which we see through the movie with how he treats threats
Real guns, but they used blanks bullets, in the scene where tony(alpacino) gets shot at while laying cover Behind that dead guy, he burned his hand while reloading, because the gun was hot
@@jasonwayne2833 its really cool, also when he fell on the dead body is because he tripped when he burned his hand thats also an improvised act from Al Pacino, it was never meant to be like that

One hell of an actor, that's for sure. He looks like he is entirely a different person in Tony's role imo.
That's why i love this guy.
For real. I think Scarface was legit his only role where he was a completely different person. There’s no trace of Al in Tony Montana

The way he says you want more in the 3rd take sounds better than the actual movie a little bit...
Oh shit, you’re right! It does!
Not really
Actually they wanted to have the sound of grenade which came best in the last take .
Ur on more drugs than he was in the movie
Alternative title: Al Pacino going rogue
I like that they kinda muted the 'here' bit at the end in the release, the line is far more iconic as just 'say hello to my little friend'
sounds much better without the "here"
I absolutely agree. The "heeere" sounds a bit too much New York for a Cuban immigrant.
Say hello to my little friend
- BOOOM!
Do yo want more?
YES!
I was not expecting for actual gun sounds and muzzle flashes to appear.
I love how the take they used was the one where he voice cracks.

Sounds like if Al Pacino, or if Montana himself was hanging out with some fans. Or doing a concert.

Deep down we wished he survived. But he went out like a straight G!
I like to consider the game canon, where he survived and had his revenge against Sosa.
I can’t even watched the last 30 minutes of the movie. I hate seeing him die, even though he was kind of a terrible person.
