When my son was younger I bought a scrap booking shelf and clear scrap booking storage cases at Michaels to store all of his small toys and trinkets. There are 7 shelves and each storages case had its own toy organization theme (hot wheels, paw patrol, dinosaurs, etc.) it helped him know where everything belonged and where he could find it. He’s 10, and we still use them!
Catherine, when my sons were little (they're now 24 & 20!), I used plastic bins to organize too, but I used packing tape to attach generalized diecuts of what toys were in the bin. A dinosaur for dinosaurs and a car for their Matchbox & other assorted vehicles, a tank for G.I. Joe's, etc. Of course there were other toys that didn't have a diecut, but it did help them figure out which toy to put in the bin when picking up!
I absolutely enjoyed watching the toy organization in this video. Man I wish you had more of that. It's so satisfying to watch.
Our bar top area is our catch all. It's the closest surface to our front door so it's constantly having to be cleared. And laundry is actually my favorite chore!

I know this is late, and someone else has probably already addressed this, but the command strips technically need like 24 hours to adhere/cure onto the surface before you add anything heavy. Just hang the basket and let it sit empty for a day before putting the veggies in. Hope this helps!

For toy storage Ikea do these big buckets and shelves, you get kids of fun colours and they slide in and out. He can bring the buckets out and then it’s a case of chucking it all back in and away at the end of the day! They look fun in play rooms xxx
Yes to the linen closet organizing video! Those are such challenging spaces to keep up with. It’s such a catch all of different types of products and sized bottles.

I recommend tidying your apartment as you go through the day but when Carson goes to bed at night always clean or tidy up .This way you wake to a tidy house and feel fresh and motivated the next day.I know sometimes its the last thing you feel like doing but push yourself and soon it will become a habit, then you won't have big messes to clean that become over whelming.Maybe start to say to Carson to swap like the dinosaur box for the train box etc.This way one is tidied up before the next one is out.I am not critisizing you.I was single with 2 kids due to divorce so I feel your frustration.From your new Australian freind .
A side note about your diffuser if you weren't aware, please make sure that whatever oil you're diffusing is safe for your kitty, otherwise you could potentially be slowly poisoning them!

Also to add on to this stay cautious of brands like YL and doTerra as they are MLMs and take advantage of struggling people.
Folding is relaxing to watch and I am always looking at how everyone else folds different items.
This might sound soo weird but I actually find watching someone fold and put away their laundry the most satisfying part of a cleaning video. Especially when it's about 4 or five loads. Love you and your gorgeous little boy Carson. You inspire me soo much. Love how you decorated your bedroom xx

Mount the baskets with screw to a small plank of wood or a dollar tree wood cutting board. You can lean it against the wall with the command strips to just help keep it up but not hold the weight.

Great mix of videos ! I see four out fit changes , am pjs , blue shorts, grey shorts and pm pjs. My sons are worse than my daughter on the outfit changes . I have the ecloth wall duster and mop and LOVE them. ❤️
You should look into toy rotation. Basically you just have a couple bins of toys out and the rest stored away somewhere and every couple of months you route them. They actually end up playing with their toys more because it’s easier for them to find what they are looking for and it’s a lot easier to clean up since there arnt as many out. Cube storages are amazing or bookshelves.
This was a great video. My cat even hopped up to watch your cat. I saw 4 diffferent pant/shorts changes. Be happy it was only 4. My girls would change every hour lol
If you put a scratching post up against that arm of the couch, he’ll be more likely to scratch the post instead of the couch! I did it with my cat next to my bed and my couch and it worked!

For your command strips, wipe the surface first with something non oily or polish, so like a grease removal kitchen spray. Put it back up as was push and hold for a good 30 seconds and then don’t put anything on it for 24 hours and it should work xxx

What you described it pretty much how I do dishes 🤷♀️. Always have, both my grandma’s did, my mom does. Doesn’t seem gross at all. I fill the basin with hot water and dish soap, let the dishes soak a bit, scrub with a dish cloth, rinse with hot water, and air dry in the second basin. No dishwasher, so that isn’t an option. It’s like taking a bath, and then rinsing off in a shower 😂
Hahaha makes sense!! I feel like my mom always did it that way too.
I have a dishwasher and I still prefer to handwash..I just dread the loading and unloading...I rather wash as I go and put them away...Unless I'm tired or don't feel like washing or piled up I'll use it.

Suggestions for the vegetable basket
° You can try sticking the basket and leaving it for an hour or more without filling the basket. This gives time for the glue to stick strongly.
° you may try strips with stronger glue.

For your produce hanging basket. Try the 3m Velcro that are like the command hooks
They are made for hanging pictures on the wall and each one holds up to 15 lbs!

Four!, I have girls so we would go thru LOTS of clothes when they were little. Love watching your channel! I think heavier weighted command strips would work on the veggie holder. I love that idea! We also had a toy shelf with buckets for our kids in the living room!

I totally relate. Sometimes the weekends get busy or I just feel like taking a day off on the weekend. It gets so backed up so quickly. I feel like I'm the only one that cares lol. I think I noticed 4 bottom changes. When my twins were toddlers they used to do that a lot lol.

Just a thought on toys. Get a storage bin cart with draws if wanna get crafty make picture labels laminate them on each draw so he help put away. Clear shoe rack hangs on door makes great bathroom storage. Great video ty for talking and not alot music 🙃

Just wonderful, I've been looking for "declutter my apartment" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Vanonnor Tenhloe Equalizer - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbour got excellent success with it.

I strongly recommend that you will take a look at the konmary method of folding laundry. It’s very easy and makes dealing with this mission with much less resentment
I'm a single mom and I don't have time to fold. The easiest method for me....I never have time really...is just wash and dry and put tops on one drawer, bottoms on another and socks and undies in another. The other option I use is just hanging up Everything. It makes if easy for both of my son and I what he has available especially in those rushed school mornings. Blessings

Idea for his toys, try getting a 9 cube organizer, i think all of his toys in the living room will all fit in it.
