    The only issue I've found with the Channel Volumes as you've set them is that when you're running the effect loop it introduces microphonic feedback. I run one with a ES8 and a series of effects as well as a Decimator G in front and in the loop. I noticed the Phase 90 would add feedback and shockingly the Decimator added feedback. I will be playing around with these settings more later today - I have not tried turning off the ES-8 buffers yet. But you are 100% on with the amp coming to life with the channel volumes cranked. Way more rich and feels much better when playing.
    Outside of that my only complaints are that there is only 2 EQs for the 4 channels, so compromises have to be made. For instance, I love the CH2 cranked as a heavy rhythm with a Dirty Tree Boost. However, the settings that make that sound great don't work at all with the clean channel. So I have to make Channel 3 a "pushed" clean channel and rely on that. The other complaint is that the Tone Balance knob is useless and should have just been omitted from the design.

    @Bognerman14 Před 3 lety

    I love this review. Thanks for it!
    I'm curious if you'd recommend not get this amp if I already have a Mark V 90? Both high gain, multi channel amps. I am on the fence between the Archon and Savage 120.
    Now, it's interesting I thought the Artist sounded meatier and fatter than the Savage and I thought that could be due to less channels and less circuitry. But who knows, it may have been hoe it was dialed in!
    Tempted to sell my Bogner Shiva and grab a Savage.
    Thanks,
