Agree and a much smaller core cast which allowed you to get attached to the characters. I couldnt give a toss about half the 2020 cast and Sharon is now absolutely ridiculous as a character.
@@rayoflight6505 It's such a shame because she was such a strong character back in the day! Also the story lines are getting ridiculous with some many obvious plot holes such as the current one with Sonia. Eastenders is the only soap I watch now, and I'll always love it. But I just wish the story lines were better.
@@irishrose90 It certainly was! It all started changing in 2010 for the worst . Best ever characters were Dan Sullivan,. Steve Owen, grant, Tiffany bring them back 🤩
Michelle was just fully coming into her own as an actress in her final six month stint as Cindy. So sad she wasnt allowed to return later on down the line. Her relationships with the kids as adults would've been amazing in the noughties. Damn you Matthew Robinson.
