Good to know morty ‘s asking the questions everyone wants answered
Morty is just a mouthpiece for the audience now. Like how he presses Rick on about the citadel backstory, saying he doesn't want to shut up until Rick tells him the backstory. Then Rick proceeds to show him and the audience his sad secrets instead of just telling him with his freaking mouth. Since when has the major issue of Rick and Morty's relationship been about trust and not revealing their secrets to each other? Yes, Rick has trouble opening up but shouldn't Morty know at this point that Rick loves him despite acting otherwise? How exactly does Rick showing Morty his backstory fix their relationship? It doesn't excuse Rick's crappy behavior at all. I also heard headcanons that Morty may have seen Rick's entire life and omg I hope that's not true. That would be so weird for someone especially someone like Rick to want to reveal their entire life and all its embarrassing, private and dark secrets to other people. Also I don't know why Morty would need to learn about Rick's entire life when he only asked about the origins of the citadel?
Instead of a rushed backstory why couldn't they just have a whole flashback episode?

@@aletanook because it's not easy to tell when a man is so toxic he's willing to laugh at your abhorrent suffering whether he loves you or not. None of season 4 seemed loving.
@@Ndasuunye To be fair, Rick and Morty became shadows of their former selves starting season 3. I really wish they just regressed them back to their seasons 1-2 counterparts and not acknowledge seasons 3-5 at all with the exception of Morty's resentment of Rick.
The episode made a huge deal out of trust being the only major factor Rick and Morty need to work on when there's plenty of other issues beside that. Plus trust isn't about just about needing to tell others your dark secrets and I don't see why it would fix all the unforgivable and traumatic damage Rick has done to Morty.
Also Rick did say he loved his grandchildren and called them his little boopas so why is Morty begging for Rick to tell him he loves him when the f*cker told him that like several times in this goddamn series?

Mr. Nimbus is a great guy man, I liked the part where he sold missiles to Iran to support the Contras that were selling drugs into the U.S. overseas! His swimming abilities came in great there!

Can I point out that with this scene, Mr Nimbus has officially become a recurring character? Alongside Bird Person, Squanchy, Tammy, Evil Morty, Rick Prime and of course Mr Poopybutthole. In a way, it feels like the showrunners are slowly 'Rhett Conning' Nimbus into the place of Rick's long term Frenemy. How awesome!

This is the episode where Rick goes to see Dr. Wong, isn't it? I haven't seen any part of it other than this cold open, and simply because of Dr. Wong returning in an extended capacity to analyze Rick, it's already one of my favorite episodes of the season alongside Solaricks, Bethic Twinstinct, and Night Family.

Hell, if Cookie Magneto was able to control cookie ingredients - things like sugar, milk/dairy, etc - that has the potential for a LOT of damage if applied the right way. (Long story short, never make fun of people with powers like lactokinesis... Misfits taught me that.)

If we're being generous, it could be because Rick added a bunch of modifications to make Morty explosion proof, or added him to Project Phoenix so if he ever actually is killed he just wakes up in a clone body in another reality.
@@gortab he did look pretty explosion proof there. He had not cleared that blast radius at all before the bunker exploded. He should have been killed or seriously injured, and yet he isn't hurt at all.
I'm pretty sure Morty can be brought back like Rick if he dies.

Did you know that rick and morty was available on free on a pirate site called muchofflix but during the pause in the middle of season 6, that problem was taken care of. The site still shows the videos as available but if you open one, it no longer plays
I love the Tick, but Rick is right. A lot of those villains were a little goofy.
Plus it also points out a problem with trying to be a superhero, they have a lot of people looking to challenge them
