I bought one of these brand new in 84 and loved it. Very powerful, top speed if I remember right was just under 65 mph. Years later I sold it to a friend and he used it for another 20 years. He liked it so much after buying mine that he ended up buying two more used ones and made another complete bike for his wife to ride. Honda makes great products. This really brought back memories.

33:25. That’s how you do it man, just when you get to that position tap that brake a little it will bring you back down a bit and you give it gas again and repeat the process, do not be discouraged or scared from falling. See? Nothing happened. Keep going bro and keep practicing the same stuff just like that until you get that back brake down.

Low speed wheelies on the grass is the best place to push the balance point, fallling on your back really isnt that bad and for me it was the best way to gain confidence to keep pushing the front end up and get a sense for how responsive the back brake is. Loved seeing this thing come back to life

Nice to watch you revive these forgotten joy rides. When I was a teenager a guy down the street had a 350X. I rode it and it was scary. My ride was a Suzuki RM250 but this big bore 4 stroke surprised me.

My lil cousin and I were out riding our 185 3wheelers around camp when were were really young (early 80’s). She went around a slight corner at around 20mph, tipped to the side and it rolled forward on top of her. Broke her neck and killed her right there. Fortunately I was ahead of her and didn’t see her. My point, be friggin careful bud, these things faded out in the 80’s for a reason.

Buy an o-ring or x-ring chain so it doesn't stretch out so fast. I modified a pair of vice grips by grinding them to be narrow enough to fit between the links so I could easily press or squeeze on the master link plate. I know Motion Pro makes master link pliers for the clip but I had a cheap pair of needle nose pliers where one of the tips broke off and it worked perfect for that.

Awesome! Keep up the good work, great videos! Glad to see another ATC featured on your channel! I have some spare 1st gen 200x parts laying around if you need anything. I have an 85 rolling chassis I want to do a CR125 engine swap to, also a complete 84 Im working on restoring for my dad. I have a second gen 1986 ATC200X I completely went through and restored, built it for myself to ride a few months ago. I have quite a few trike videos uploaded on my channel if you’d like to check them out @ ATC REVOLUTION
