Gray Wood Stain - Making a Gray Wood Finish Using Keda Dye Powder Kit. Pretty easy to do. Wood Dye really makes a beautiful wood finish.
Mix for this video was:
1/8th Tsp Keda Dye Black Dye Powder (Or 0.5 Grams)
Mixed into 1 oz. Water then added 7 ozs of Isopropyl alcohol.

Great! This is one color I was wondering about, too! I'd wager this will work to get a pastel from a green, blue, red (pink), or yellow, as well!

Do u take on do u take on jobs.. I have a steering wheel I want done in a Grey wood grain...
can you apply tung oil + shellac + wax on top of these wonderful dyes?
Recommend going light and gentle on first coat just to be safe for any seal coat. Once that sets, should be fine to go a bit more aggressive. Shouldn’t have any issue with this formula at all though. Thank you for watching. Hope this helps out :)

I'm not certain if I've asked yet, but why add water to the alcohol? If you're using the 70%, is that not enough? Or it is to slow down dry time?
Also, does dyed wood glue up okay? I cannot rememb er if I asked that either lol.
The splash of water helps the dye powder open up better. The powder dyes were designed to only need water, whereas the liquid dyes would not need water. Dyed wood glues just fine, but still wear gloves lol
