I think it's a good idea to replace those carrier bearings. Can you just replace the cross in the worn-out U-joint or do you have to replace the whole driveline? I know what you mean take one thing apart and find two more to fix. Thanks for the video 👍

Hello. You need to replace the entire U-joint assembly usually the needle bearings go out first. Unless your driveshaft is very bent and kinked or the yokes have not egged out. You don't need to replace the enter driveshaft. The carrier bearings where a unexpected discovery but if you break the carrier your looking at a very expensive piece to replace. Thanks for watching.
