Today in Belize City it was sunny, hot and dry. Belizeans can expect a mostly sunny and warm day with temperatures reaching up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit inland today Coastal areas will experience slightly cooler temperatures, with highs of 91 degrees Fahrenheit while hilly regions can expect temperatures around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Despite the warm sunshine, isolated showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop over inland areas during the afternoon. Southern and some coastal areas are expected to experience a few outbreaks of showers and thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow morning. We are still on heat alert. Showers of Blessings fell in Western Belize following prolonged heat.
