  • @Gavin84w
    @Gavin84w Před 11 lety

    This vid clearly shows the benefit of what trap dozing can do for a loaders production, if your gunna skimp on the blast you better put in a dozer to feed the loader.

  • @56pw
    @56pw Před 11 lety

    It must be nice to have a dozer pushin down to you. Where I work you gotta dig the shit from a crappy blast with NO dozer assist & with a 992 it sometimes struggles to fill the bucket.This man knows how to run a loader,he is good. I would put the 2nd gear default on though,as it gets rid of the lurch into first when doing the direction changes,that first gear lurch sure gets old after a couple of hours...

    Can someone explain to me what the 777D and 992K stand for at Caterpillar? I figure that the letter is the version of the equipment.

    • @PAmining
      @PAmining  Před 9 lety

      Petre Thompson The letters in the machines model number nomenclature stand for nothing other than the Series. For example, an "A" model would be the first in the series.

    Hi, does anyone know what Cat. don't use the Z bar linkages on these machines for the bucket curl?

    • @PAmining
      @PAmining  Před 7 lety

      The Z-bar linkage was dropped when the 992D was upgraded to the 992G.

    • @deanmarkillie9699
      @deanmarkillie9699 Před 5 lety

      It only gives a better view of the side of the bucket. Breakout force is less than z bar and dump time is longer as they are using the power side of the ram to dump and the speed side of the ram to load. Notice that the bucket ram is twice as long as a zbar type.

  • @anthonylucibello67
    @anthonylucibello67 Před 10 lety

    so how many hours do they usauly put on the loaders before there replaced

    • @jimmyjohnson7769
      @jimmyjohnson7769 Před 8 lety

      normally till it costs to much to rebuild. ive seen mine dozers with as few as 6500 hrs to as many as 35000+

    • @howardwhitaker1556
      @howardwhitaker1556 Před 5 lety

      Most mine equipment is run till the mine closes, it's not cost effective to repair it anymore, or it burns to the ground. Most bigger equipment is assembled in the mine, so it's not easy to just move it somewhere else, lol.

    • @wonnelzoldilock
      @wonnelzoldilock Před 5 lety

      Some company use until they broken and rebuild it again but some just Sell it and buy a new one, and many company only using the hour just for oil service
