I'm getting trained in a 773 right now, I also drive a tractor trailer everyday hauling coal but I really want to learn how to operate this and a 992G loader as well.. You done a good job filming this, I see one of this things everyday in the pit where I work and I cant wait to get in one... I love working around the mines, its a rush...
The same machines are used in Waihi NZ...by the Martha Gold mine company... fascination to watch from viewing plat forms ...best with binoculars as the pit is very deep...they look like toys

In many many pieces!
The number on the side of cats and jcbs refers to the weight, does this mean the cat 5130 weighs in at 513 tons ?
No while that is true for the 300 series, it's not correct for the 5000 series.
Thanks.
