I realize this comment is a year late, but first, thank you for such a useful and well explained video. I will enjoy following you.The only constructive point I would like to request is that you position your camera differently so that the student is looking down directly on your work and not viewing it from the side. I just came across you for the first time, thank you CZcams. OMG, what a brilliant artist. Your teaching skills are exceptional and very "inspiring". I am a beginner but have not done enough yet to. See my style yet I love realistic but have heard one artist use the term of naturism I woul say Wyeth is my favorite but love many artists style so I hope even at 76 I can paint landscapes plein air in watercolor enough to find my style thank you

Its not that you should not use it, you should use it sparingly in the early stages so things don't get overly chalky.
