They don't take just children but try to kidnap members of wealthy families as well or anyone they know they can squeeze money from. Our family friends brother was kidnapped and held hostage for 2 months. He was a dermatologist there working in a hospital. After 2 months of negotiation and giving them $200, 000 they finally released him. He said he was kept in a dark room, barely fed, mocked and beat up on a daily basis. This is actually one reason my parent's don't feel comfortable to visit, because if they know you're a foreigner they automatically assume you're rich.

money is not the primary reason. the rural areas are more traditional with the taliban as rulers and with almost no corruption. rural areas might have higher moral values and an effective taliban government. but the capital city and the major cities are ruled by american installed, extremely corrupt puppets. in many issues there is no just and proper rule of law in the capital. that's why there are so many problems. (take note that the afghan government aka the american puppet regime is the 3rd most corrupt government in the world).

@@Green-zw9pv Ummm... I think you mean America. America imports trafficked children from all over the world via their armed forces as well. The American govt. has been trafficking in drugs and people in Mexico & throughout south America & Afghanistan. Don't you read? It's been reported in US mainstream media that the Opium trade rose - literally by billions of dollars in Afghanistan - AFTER the US invaded - it's one of the reasons the corporate American state is still there. Human trafficking is HUGE on the planet & people are trafficked from country to country. The CIA has been trafficking children via orphanages they set up in war zones all over the world since their inception in the 20th century. See Tory Smith's channel if you think you can handle it. See reporter Gary Webb's work - get his book & watch all the videos about him - IF you think you can spot the propaganda versus reality, including the corporate media in the US, which is full of presstitutes, NOT journalists (I was trained as a journalist & most on CNN & MSNBC are NOT journalists.) I’m so happy that he was released back to his parents but, what an awful way to live in fear all the time. I’m praying that all kidnapped victims are safely returned back to their families. The commander who investigates these cases and works so hard to get them solved is a God sent man. He is to be commended for trying his hardest to unite these boys back to their families again. This world is becoming so evil and vile. Its so sad that families cannot live in peace and enjoy their time together.

  • @helpourpawsandpeopleeverywhere

A beautiful family and no one deserves that intentional pain.Nothing surprises me what humans can inflict onto another.A very brave man and may Allah protect him to find all the perpetrators and missing children.

My heart really ached for the Afghans. It is a beautiful country but there is nothing can be done if society and government are lost, no frame of reference of goodness and morality. They are eating each other. It is a country of survival of the fittest. The weak will be a victim.
Their religion or whatever faith they have is not helping them. It is a human tragedy. Only God can solve this wickedness.
