    LOL Ken! I would have to agree . Eighth mile is just over too damn quick....

  • @KCBarr1
    @KCBarr1 Před 8 lety +2

    Love all the cars, absolutely. But running 1/8 mile is like giving a dead horse penecillin.

    @TreJohnsonOfficial Před 9 lety +2

    14:15 - 14:30 That has to be one of the biggest & most unfortunate coincidences ever in racing. They both ended horribly and at the same time.They still had the fastest drag of the day though.

    @andrewt248 Před 9 lety +1

    4.17! They're so close to the three's!

    Holy shit @ the Camero @ 10:20. The delayed boost on that thing stood the front end up at (looks like) past 60ft. Wow! lol,....he almost put it in the wall though.

    • @Glitch-nr9ct
      @Glitch-nr9ct Před 9 lety

      Well,....looks like I made that comment a little early since he did put it in the wall @ 14:18. That car is too squirlley to stay in the throttle through a wheel stand. It was silly of him to try.

    • @4godadddygo
      @4godadddygo Před 8 lety

      +Glitch he should have pulled his chute

    • @Glitch-nr9ct
      @Glitch-nr9ct Před 8 lety

      I disagree. Pulling the chute on a car that's beginning to break loose will substantially reduce your chance of driving out of it. You will *never* see an experienced driver do that - even in top fuel.

    • @4godadddygo
      @4godadddygo Před 8 lety

      you dont know what your talking about pulling the shoot instantly strightens the car out and slows it down

    • @Glitch-nr9ct
      @Glitch-nr9ct Před 8 lety

      No one, and I mean NO ONE does that. In hundreds if not thousands of of drag race crashes (and near misses)
      I've seen on TV and in person across every single class of car, I've *never* seen a driver pull a chute to assist with traction and control of the vehicle. We'll just have to agree to disagree. Now they might pull the chute if they are headed in a straight line and have an engine malfunction - I'll give you that much, but not to get a squirelly car straight again. Never, never, never.

    something is on that track like a oil slick on both sides

    • @kevinu6004
      @kevinu6004 Před 9 lety +1

      looks more like a dip in the tarmac, especially noticeable on the left lane

  • @vincegedeon6583
    @vincegedeon6583 Před 8 lety

    yea i really only like quarter mile drag racing

    • @Gojira214
      @Gojira214 Před 8 lety +1

      really? I think 1/8th mile is more interesting by far. but I respect your opinion as well

  • @Syrus54
    @Syrus54 Před 9 lety

    Is this 1/8 mile of 1/4 mile???
    Those cars dont look like 4-second cars....

    • @Syrus54
      @Syrus54 Před 9 lety

      Question then; If you're running 4 seconds in 1/8, what's the 1/4 mile time, usually?

    • @RealLife73
      @RealLife73 Před 9 lety

      Syrus54 multiply 1/8 mile time by 1.57 and that'll get u close to 1/4 mile time. It's not dead on especially with turbo cars doing alot of their work from just before the 330'mark til the finish line, but it'll get u close.

      Carros

    • @nitrochaney1026
      @nitrochaney1026 Před 8 lety

      Theres a big difference between an 1/8 car going 4.99 and one that is 4.00 when you are talking about equivalent 1/4 mile time. A 4.99 car may be 7.85 to 8.00 and a 4.00 car will be deep in the 6's....

    • @KJFILMSLLC
      @KJFILMSLLC Před 8 lety
