- Turin, 1966: The unofficial ‘Emperor of Italy', newly crowned as head of its most powerful private company, ventures out for the first time at the wheel of his latest and fastest bespoke creation: a 180mph, mid-engined Ferrari supercar with seating for three abreast. Almost six decades later we’ve helped bring it back to life, but one task remained.
To bring it home…

That car blasting around Lingotto rooftop track with Sig Agnelli in it...what an emotional scene for me! Bravo Simon and team!
that has to be one of the most gorgeous cars ever built
This is literally one of the most artful and mesmerizing videos I've ever seen. And to make it even more iconic, it was the prototipo!
The 3 seat design study that would become the 206 gt, and then the 246 gt.
Absolutely riveting story, absolutely hypnotizing visuals. Thank you.
An absolute masterclass in short films. Thank you Simon and team for bringing this story and car back to life for the world to appreciate. What a time to be alive.
Thank you very much for watching
No word... I'm crying of happiness. The car, the Sound, the mythic place and the little boy's storry.
Beautiful everything!! Beautiful car, beautiful story, beautiful sound, beautiful movie and beautiful building!!!
That Ferrari and 125s! Just magnificent Italian masterpieces.
Simply beautiful. And the simple act of kindness is seasonally appropriate.
I've seen in person the 'other" 3 seater in Connecticut. this one is more WOW.
Italian style, Italian elegance, car, driver and story. Wonderful.
What a gift for Christmas, thank you Mr. Simon.
Two unforgettable cars. The Ferrari 365 P and the Fiat 125 with the TO A00000 licence plate. Gianni Agnelli had a lot of luck, being rich, handosme, smart and brilliant. And a life full of tragedies. Starting with his father death, up to his son's suicide. He failed as an industrialist, but he was a man of the perfect taste. He had the most beautiful women, the most beautiful yachts (Tomahawk, Agneta, Capricia, Extrabeat and Stealth), the most beautiful cars. He died before the end of Fiat corporation. Sit tibi terra levis.
I just got tears in my eyes and chills up and down my arms. When I first came to the Blackhawk Collection to meet with Don Williams and Rick Cole about representing them, I roamed around the Blackhawk Museum and sat in the center seat of a 365 Berlinetta. I'll never forget that experience, the car brightly lit in a very dark room. I recall looking out the front windshield across the room at the B.A.T.S. and other incredible rolling works of art. This video just took me back thirty years!
Thank you Cindy, it means a lot.
Fabulous, the story, the car, this production.
Mr. Kidston's holiday production is one of the things I look forward to most with the holidays
Happy Holidays!
Lovely! The wristwatch over the shirt cuff is such a nice and historically accurate touch :).
In the workshop I have the Umberto Agnelli FIAT Dino spider , now do you think that little boy witnessed Umberto arriving at the stadium in his Dino ?
Beautiful film !
What an amazing film, the car is a work of art
Nice cinematography.
Greetings! Thank you for this moment of celebration of life in this 6 minutes of history, beauty and passion! Really GREAT masterpiece.

Another high quality production, thank you.
A masterpiece production with a sensational car as the lead actor. Bravo.

The BUILDING IS Bananaaaass, race track, I never knew, great production Amigo!!!

a lovely Christmas present for the community. Grazie 1000
L’avocato was a true living legend. This was like a Christmas gift to me. Thank you dear Simon.
Beautiful Film, Thank You…
Thank you Mr. Simon!!
This was sheer poetry. I’ve always been an admirer of Signor Agnelli since I first heard of him. He was a man of true greatness in every respect.
This short film is Oscar worthy by my book. Stunning cinematography, editing and everything. Bravo! 👏💯🙌
Wow, thank you!
had the privilege to see this very car in the garage while it was in final stages of resto this past summer, I just appeared on the doors there out of curiosity and the guys took me for a show around tour, but didn't allow any photos, which was actually a plus in a certain way, I felt like I was let in on world's biggest secret :D
Amazing amazing model design 👍👍👍
Bravissimi Complimenti
This must have been over 40 million
Just great! Thank you Simon and Merry Christmas!
Gave me goosebumps, wonderful!
Emozione vera...Bravi!
What a story, amazing car and beautifully put together for CZcams. Thank you.
l'avvocato , grande !
Un lavoro magnifico per un'opera magnifica !
I spent eleven years in Italy's financial frontier; this, for me, is a celebration of Italian industry.🥰 (And Turin remains my favorite place in Italy🥰)
W Torino!
❤❤❤❤ Just absolutely Beautiful thank you ❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome
I watched this on Christmas morning. Thanks for making my day even more special. Perfection.
What a thing of utter sublime beauty. You can keep your Lamborghinis and electric bs. Cars will never be this perfect again.
This is a poetic form of filming. Kudos to all who made it possible.
Whooowwww, a masterpiece of a short film, short film that thells not only a story but feeds the imatignation.
The watch over the shirt...can only be mister A, the father of sprezzatura.
In 3 weeks from now my son and I have a planned visit to Turin, next to many highlight of the city, yes Lingotto is on the list.
Turin always feels a bit like coming home!
Thank you Simon for this film, the elegant and beautifull automobils and exposing Turin in a nice matter.
When I was young I had a model of this 365 Berlinetta, it was so unusual with it's 3 seats and central driving position. I remember it was white with a black interior but the thing I do not recall it having was the spoiler on the rear bodywork, it looks out of place to me. All in all a great video and thanks for sharing and bringing back childhood memories.
@peterhealey2668 : There's two of these, that's why.
The first one was and still is white and didn't have the spoiler, (so that'll be what your model was based on). It's still around, (failed to sell at auction in 2014 but reached a 23.5 million bid!].
Agnelli saw the first one at its debut at the Paris motor show and commissioned one for himself - but specified this silver paint, plus the stripe and rear spoiler.
This one came without the huge sunroof but that was soon added. [On the white one it's perspex, I don't know what this one is made of).
This Agnelli one during its lifetime was repainted in metallic blue and then red. So it's been repainted back to silver some time since the red.
* 'Wikipedia is your friend'...
Beautiful piece of cinematography and of course- arguably the most beautiful Ferrari.
Fantastic!
Every year I wait for the Christmas movie. Outstanding Simon. Unequaled. Merry Christmas to you and the team!
What a stunningly beautiful video - thank you (feel free to make them longer! ;D )
Well done, as always.
What a wonderful story shot so well. These are magnificent. Never stop.
Beautiful film, very interesting story. I can only recommend the hotel at the Lingotto by the way. The Lingotto is the building with the test track on the roof you can see in the video. It was the former headquarters of Fiat. The Agnelli family has always had large stocks on the company. Unfortunately, when I was in Turini in 2020, everything was closed and I wasnt able to visit the rooftop. It was one of the few hotels tho that was open. Personell was very nice and the rooms were good, too.
Mister Kidston, you did again an outstanding job to portray a very special car. Turini at night has such an atmosphere. I also remember the tunnel you filmed in, near the Lingotto. Although I remember the streets were very bumpy.
I love the sound of the car and the elegant design of the 1960s.
Welcome back all at Kidstons. We’ve missed you. More excellence, please. Nick.
Emozionante. Bellissimo racconto di un'epoca irripetibile, girato meravigliosamente.
Tears of emotion running down an old man’s face. 🙏 thank you
Fantastic car! LOVE the rooftop track!! Subbed!!!✌🏻🇨🇦
thank you Mr. Simon.
Much appreciation to Simon et al.
A special car, a special story, and another superb video adventure where Emanuel is not playing an assassin! Merry Christmas!
Bravissimi un bel regalo di natale
WOW! Wonderfully done! Yes, the car, of course, but the video created a wonderful presentation!
Thank you for the attention to detail. That car. That building. The watch strapped around the outside of the driver's shirtsleeve. Forza!
My memory is fuzzy, but I saw a car just in the annual imported car show in San Francisco. I thought it was gold but maybe that was the 275GTS on the stand with Pedro Rodriguez inside.
Great actor
I believe I've been following Simon's videos here and on Vimeo for about 10 years now, and I'm always amazed that each one is an entertaining work of art. The marvelous cars and captivating stories always have me lusting after the next offering.
Thank you very much, keep following us!
No one can touch these productions. They are just so damn good and original!
It's a shame there's not an Oscar category that Kidston's movies could be entered for, cos they'd win all of 'em. I don't drive my "special" car at this time of the year cos of the weather, however I get to drive it vicariously through watching Kidston's great movies. Thank you guys??
@davekeen1963 -- Ah, but there sort of is. It is called the Webby Awards.
Wow! what a lot of time , energy and craftsmanship put in a beautifully crafted free-for-all mini movie to enjoy for all ! Thanks Kidston !
It really takes a lot of work, so we appreciate your positive feedback.
I only saw one of these before! It was Rossi Red. To this day I never thought there was two! The Sultan of Brunei has the other one. I wasn’t allowed to even open the door by his guards. Made my day today.
i love how gianni always wore his watch on his sleeve
Wow! What a fantastic piece of filmmaking! Thank you Simon. Happy Christmas.
Great story and production value in this mini-movie. Made me want to see more!
Nothing has ever sounded better than that Colombo engine.
Magnificent!!! Thank you for the content!
Gorgeous!!!
Masterclass in automotive fim.
Actually, this goes beyond that, it;s co culturally and historically significant.
The attention to the details, the cut of the unvented suit (unwary would just slap on a more typical double vented suit readily available, but to go to the extra lengths to source an unvented suit these days...superb!), the watch over the tight shirt collar...very nice.
Kidston Productions, above and beyond!
Excellent story telling and beautifully shot, and accessing Lingotto? You've excelled yourselves. Love it.
Where will the Kidston's team go next ? What a marvel, I remenber the story of this young child when you publish it. Fantastic tribute to an industry tycoon.
Well, I never knew this building existed, just Googled it and wow, I am blown away. What an amazing structure and concept. Love it! The car is pretty nice too!😉
There is a glass dome (a conference room) that is out of this world - it was an addition when Renzo Piano restored the place
Gentlemen Kidston and Tyrell,s work is a joy to consider. Thank you
As great as always ❤
Merry Christmas 🎄
Awesome!
I’m speechless what a video, this channel must have one million subs ASAP
Bravo! Yet another Kidston featured vehicle with no price tag. How does he get his hands on these jewels?!
Amazing no words... for this video and story the production simplemente grandiosa congrats.... Thks for this gift
This film is wonderful! A fantastic car in a fabulous Turin! Wonderful work by you and your team! What a great Christmas gift, thank you!!!
I've loved this car since buying the IMAI model in the 1970's. (I still have it, and two unbuilt kits.) What a fantastic car, and wonderful video! Thanks Kidston and team!
Thanks for sharing!
If I ruled this world, I would decree that every social media site place this channel on their homepage.
Consider it my kindest act because like that child, I believe nothing superior to Kidston. Art lives here.
Another stunning video both in content and attention to detail, thanks Simon and Merry Christmas
