One of my very favorite bands of all time, since I was a kid growing up in the 80’s; they first really made an impression on me when I was 12 and this album-KICK-came out. I still have the VHS video of INXS KICK: The Video Flick; it has all the videos for the singles from this album (their most popular), along w/behind the scenes clips. Michael was even a major hair influencer for me even, and I’m a girl! Lol You’ve really got to check out these guys live, especially their Live Baby Live show at Wembley in 1991. They’re really one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen, on video or in person, but they had to be to cut it in the rough Aussie bars where they started out. I didn’t get to see them live during Michael’s lifetime unfortunately, but did see them in 2006 w/JD Fortune, and frankly they were still absolutely amazing, no joke. They’re each talented, but what seems more important is how well they work together, playing off one another’s strengths. Of course it helps that they’re all genuinely friends, and three are brothers (but not like Noel and Liam Gallagher lol), and have been playing together since they were teenagers.
Saw these guys live at 6 flags when I was in 6th grade lol, he died WAY too young they had a lot more to offer

RIP Michael. One of the best front man of his era. Unfortunately, he was stuck in a moment he couldn't get out of.
My Boomer/Hippie Mom loved this....we don't really give them enough credit for exposing us to the best music of the 50s-80s when we were teens. I wasn't crazy about INXS when I was busy with Cyndi and Madonna and the headbanging boys but they were good.
