One of my "go-to" songs when I want to hear some great 80's music. Duran Duran's songs have some of the best bass! This one, "Notorious", "A View to a Kill", I could go on and on. Even during the sax solo on "Rio", the bass is right there with it and it sounds so good!

This album took over the planet. I was in Jr High when it happened and it was amazing to watch. Another later song that has been heavily sampled is the title track to their "Notorious" album. You might recognize it. Enjoy the ride.....

I have been mesmerized by this song and video since May 1983! I had the biggest crush on the girl that portrayed Rio!!! I think I still do! As for the song, the bass is off the hook. John Taylor is perhaps the most underrated bass player of all time which is a shame. He is a genius, and the sax solo does not get much better than this one! So glad you liked it!
