Backfire Boards Hammer Sledge. Out riding some and giving you guys some insight to the board and my thoughts after about a month of riding. @BackfireBoardsOfficial
Do you like the remote?I was the one who gave Backfire the idea for their thumb print pad and am still waiting for them to respond about my Sledge for my suggestion
Daniel Kwan gave them the suggestion for the name except they reversed it to hamemr sledge, so stupid. Also Ill be honest, the fingerprint scanner is in practice a horrible idea.
I really want to get one of these but I've heard lipo batteries are hard to maintain. Do you have any tips to maintaining them or do you just treat them like any other board? I'd really like your input
Honestly i treat them like any other board. Just don’t drain it to zero. Only leave it fully charged when I know I’m going to ride. You can check the voltage of each pack in this remote so that helps check battery health.
@@onel0wcubn Thanks very much🙏 Just some more question about voltage. I'm sorry I'm new to this. what do I do to keep it balanced? Is it mainly just not draining the batter to zero? What to do if it's too high or too low?
@@onel0wcubn that’s turbo mode on the sledge? But the Ranger x3 goes that’s speed… i loved the sledge at first but I definitely want a bit more range and oomph. Have you tried any other 4wd boards?
I'm gonna be that dickhead in the comments that tells you to wear knox gloves and some kneepads mate. Going 25+ you're going to fuck your hands and knees up VERY badly - I've been there.
Backfire is such a quality company I just want the hammer to come back in stock
In stock atm
Same
Wish that was around when I was your age, ,,,, , very cool
This is a great review thank you
Just now seeing this video. Did not know you made content on the board. 🤟🤟
Yessir! You know I always get the first peaks ;)

Love the remote, have yet to and probably will not ever use the thumb print pad..

Those motor guards look like they're from the OG Hammer
They are the same visually. Not sure if they made changes to the mold.

Keep at 50% when in storage
Where did you get the tail light from?
Came with my demo unit but they are on Amazon.
What's the range between 4wd and 2wd. It should go further with 2wd right?
The ESC heats less on inclines. So battery draw may be larger but range will never be the same for 4WD
whats the range been on that at about 25-26 mph?
That's turbo mode at that speed and I haven't done a full turbo run but I would assume like 17 miles? ish....

Anyone else allready got there board?
i have feaar riding my hammer
I bet with Cloud Rovers and Eco mode with straight and level riding one can get 40 miles
oh yeah for sure. The battery is a beast. I've yet to put clouds on but I should soon.
@@onel0wcubn i ordered mine in mid May and its coming in a few days. When did you order yours?
