~ 25 kilometers is a a very low range even if you are riding in sport mode only ... they shoul think of boosting that range up to 50 kilometers in sport, so every one to be happy, and the board and riding exp to be usefull in any ways. :) Good video!
Yeah man cool video and great you could look at it objectively re the range. A battery cell and capacity upgrade would definitely suit that board, so hopefully Backfire will take note. Love the new intro too!!

Love your content and your raw honesty in your reviews. With that being said there is nothing I would love more than for your channel to grow and you to get some of those sweet boards to review for free. This is just a suggestion so do as you choose but in the last 2 videos I have seen to pretty epic spills. If you were to use those stills as your thumbnail and throw in catch words like epic crash you can really get some quick and sufficient growth on your channel. I know it seems cliche but you already have golden content just need to utilize better.

Please post the tire pressure of the wheels that this test was run with. Extremely significant to performance and range tests. Tire pressure should be checked with a Digital gauge.
Hey bud…thanks for the vid. The results of your test is exactly why I am considering cancelling my order for the Hammer. At this price and with the battery options out there, 15 miles is pathetic. Scott Davies just did a range test of the Ownboard Zeus over on his channel. He weights 220 lbs. and he got 38 miles out of that board in his range test. It has the 13S4P battery with Panasonic cells in it. I think they are Panasonic cells. Yes, the Zeus is just a little more, but just a little and with the extra range, I think it is worth it. I have been waiting for my Hammer to show up. Backfire told me that I could cancel any time. Looks like I may cancel it and get the Zeus ordered. Not sure Hammer is the right name for this board at only 15 miles per charge…I had hopes for a really good board…hopes may have been dashed.
Yea, my 100% honest response to you would be Hurricane or Zeus. It's a no fail... meepo just pushed back the shipping date again... from sept. 20th, to the 9th, now to the 15th.... but the 15th sounds promising... just waiting on the email. I ordered the meepo for the Molicels and the ESC... but the value if the Zeus is amazing .. especially if it proves to be solid board. It's a hard choice... but I went with the Hurricane .... I have a great video planned for it as soon as it gets here. I spend all my own money on these boards... so I'll be 100% honest about everything I experience. Might be to late at that point.... but if I was you I would pull the plug brotha The Hammer is a monster for about 8 or 9 miles.... After that I'm not impressed
zeus is great. love the board.. its tough to get a REAL IMPRESSIVE battery WITH a flex deck.. besides giant botique boards, the bamboo hadean is where its at.. but if u dont need flex, the zeus is great. good quality, good power, good speed, good price good value, very good looking.. there customer service is getting great too

Waiting on a response from Backfire on how much they are going to charge me to cancel my order. Will then order the Zeus. I jumped a little too soon on the Hammer. Overboard’s vid really helped me see that I made a mistake. I think with the G3, the Zeus, and the Endeavor, I will have a good selection…to start out with…I am sure you both understand how this works…there will be numerous boards in the eSK8 collection as I have with my traditional board collection. I'm not 100% sure... but I don't think so, without some mild reprogramming of your ESC.... It will be receiving different values and youll risk overheating your ride if the esc gets bottle necked with power and can't handle it
I get the same range on my meepo mini that cost me 400$ and a higher top speed and if you say "but I can use whatever wheels I want" there is a lot of hub wheel options now including cloud and are using whatever wheels you want worth almost 1k$?

We are on the same team man Hahaha we can have a conversation before you have the whole thing yourself😁 I got it for multipule reasons... but the top speed isn't usually a determining factor for buying a board.... I think everyone who bought the Hammer got dooped cuz we were told by the old man that it didn't have battery sag with the 21700... lies... but! Let's talk objectively here about the 2 boards Things like ... A Longer/Safer and more attractive looking deck with enough flex in the deck and Comfort with the pnumatics you can ride on gravel and you barely even realize it. I can destroy the mini 2 from 0 to 30mph....then, cut off the road into the grass and rip up a huge hill. Just... alot more things that justify the price of $1200... but... after riding it, it's probly worth 1k just because that shit range... It's hard to judge the tone of my conversation but if you knew me in person you would see that I love litteraly every board and I don't know why people feel the need to go after boards they don't own unless it's an Evolve... Now if it's an Evolve... ill laugh all day cuz you can buy multipule high dollar boards... or 1 Evolve. But! The meepo mini is a hella valuable board... but it doesn't stand with the Hammer in any way expect for maybe range.... Just being real with you.... I hope that response doesnt push the wrong buttons but it's alot better to go through life being honest with yourself... And that's what I'm doing with the Hammer. Amazing Power and super Beautiful Board... but Very Weak Range. You have to admit your boards shortcomings AND all things you like equally as confident. No matter what you pulled out of the bank... Being honesty with yourself is #1

I was just throwing shade at their clearly off measurements of speed and distance. I have no idea how they got their numbers. The main reason I'm hesitant about the ownboard zeus is they only back the board for 180 days. I hope they get back to you , because honestly the biggest thing going for backfire is their customer service. From the look of things I think they are dealing with the realization that people are not buying these as toys,and need more range. I think they backed the fun flex ride, when the market is going more toward work horse.
