Still I play on normal difficulty I charged with 5 thousand men and the strongest duchy in wales falls, same thing when it’s a kingdom, I probably have expanded somewhere else and have 9k or 8k.

Personally I like the fact that they’ve made Crusader Kings more accessible. I feel that although it’s not perfect it’s a damn site better than base game CK2 and that’s a fact. CK2 without DLC is unplayable ((tell me otherwise.)) CK3 has free LC as well as DLC and it seems Paradox is invested in continual improvements and immersion do I wish the warfare system was better YES does it do the job and excel at the RPG elements of the game for the most part YES. I hope in time they improve the Warfare mechanic but as mentioned Tours and Tournaments is a brilliant new edition which adds extra bells and whistles to Knights/ Champions and men at arms which gives me hopes of the beginning of a Warfare rework so although your points are valid I wouldn’t critic it as harshly since the game hasn’t been out as long as CK2. And in my humble opinion it is hitting most of the essential points. For example being able to make your own ruler and still get achievements that was my biggest wish and PDX smashed it out of the park.

Bigger army = Better. Currently the terrain matters little and everyone just plays catches catch with the small enemy army.

I agree but I do enjoy trying to curate a perfect army with MAA and using terrain/fortification/generals to win battles against overwhelming numbers with minimal casualties.

You must not be very good at ck3 if you think the combat is just bigger army = better.

Or , you can summon the magic boats from the void, put YOUR ENTIRE ARMY on those magic boats and go around. What a joke of a game.
You HAVE LEARNED NOTHING FROM CK2.
This game is a DOWNGRADE, A MASSIVE DOWNGRADE

Of course it is not fully realistic, but when you think a bit more about it, it can really make some sense. Every time you get on the seas, you need to pay the price to even enter, so for example 50 gold. Every month, you pay extra cash from staying on the sea. Those are the sea-travel expenses.
I'm not saying "expanded navy system" wouldn't be a good idea. In fact that would make ck3 much more immersive, however for now, the mechanic works and it is playable.

Yup , playable for the AI. Pay some gold and move a crusade worth of manpower across the mediterranean, no issues what so ever. Or when the bigger empires AI abuse the shit out of the jesus waterwalking mechanic.
U're playing chess, and the other side is playing Homeworld.

@@filipfenix I think that it is some extreme example.
If we think of the game as the whole, it is quite unbalanced. End-game is always linked with the enormous income, not only of the gold but every statistic is on a high level.
This game can really get unrealistic sometimes, so that's just what happens. We can't do much about it.
That's why this game needs many changes which paradox will surely do (well, probably it's gonna be costful unfortunately). Tours and Tournaments is a great dlc actually and if every next one keeps it up, CK3 might be much much better than its prequel.
      Your feedback is important tho.
I hope PDX will see your comment.
