how does the official CK3 tutorials not only provide the most basic and shallow explanation but also get the age of the three traits wrong?
I dont think paradox plays their own games bro

This is the part I really need a full tutorial on as it's changed so much over the years and game versions. What am I looking for in a guardian, is it good traits, high learning, high stat in the desired education field, high level education trait, or all of the above? If you can't have it all what are the most important to look for?
I know it's late but, there is kind of a "capability score" (I just like to call it that) and that is influenced by half the learning stat of the guardian and their stat on the education area. AND the guardians/wards intelligence traits (quick/shrewd have the same effect) negatives make the outcome worse and positives make it better.

@@Vipre- best thing you can do i would suggest get geniuses in your family or get one in your court by hook or crook so to speak you want best education for your child then you need somebody with a big brain
Also, if you want your kid to be good at a certain skill, pick a guardian that's also high in that corresponding skill. For instance, if you want your kid to be good at diplomacy, pick a guardian with a high diplomacy skill after you chose their focus.
First priority is traits like quick/intelligent/genius/shrewd, then the primary skill, then learning. All those have a factor in guardianship.

I gave my son's guardianship to my most noble knight in the amirate.
