- In this study, we learn that obedience to God's Word does not always equal smooth sailing. Yet, the Pharisees were more concerned with being ceremonially pure than morally upright. We must remember that God is first concerned with our inward attitudes before our outward actions.

Pastor Skip's explanation of why Jesus walked on the water is so helpful to me right now. I need to make a medical appointment, and I am hoping and praying that cancer will not be found. I shall remember the words of Jesus, "be not afraid; it is I".

So Pious until we are " Pathetic" at times. Pastor Skip reminds us to remember to look to YOU LORD who fulfilled "The Law." You actually "raised the bar" on what we should be about. When the world doesn't "get us" we should remember you know our hearts!! May your LOVE and "Grace" take up so much of our hearts that we "ooze YOU!" Thank You LORD!
