  • Jesus made His disciples apostles by sending them out to deliver His message. That message was heard by Herod, whose worldly sorrow led to death-the death of John the Baptist. When Jesus invited His messengers to go with Him to a quiet place and rest, they discovered a multitude of people in need of compassion and teaching, like sheep without a shepherd. As believers, we too are called to become apostles-careful to share the gospel with those in need.
This teaching is from our series Matthew - 2011 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

I also believe in being buried and not being cremated. I have always wondered about cremation and if it is even Christian? Thanks for the additional information in this chapter so I can learn God's Word better. Thank you!

The Catholics used to be no cremation. But they changed that now , now you can burn. Is there in Armageddon all that died will came back to life and fight the last fight, the last war to end all war.
How are you gonna come back to life if your spread across the ocean , when you launch them into
      Stratosphere.. ??
