- Welcome to a new series going behind the scenes of the Bennetts British Superbike championship to find out what makes the world's most popular national motorcycle race series such a success.
Whether it's a front tyre, a Crew Chief, a Junior Supersport rider's dad, the medical car or the Race Director, everyone has a part to play in making #BSB what it is, and we'll be following their stories.
First up: marshals. Simply put, without these volunteer orange-clad heroes there'd be no racing so we follow a day in the life of five-year veteran, Laura Maliphant, and her colleagues as she's positioned in the recovery truck at the final round of the 2020 season at Brands Hatch.

Thank You Orange Army.. Great video Lovely people
Silverstone 2015 at Luffield eh. I was there that day when Johan & Sam stopped. Just happen to have a photo I took of you holding Sam’s bike. Hats off to you all ... great job you do 👍
Good memories, hey Simon?!
The unsung heroes of every awesome race! Thank you guys!
My upmost respect to all the marshal's at all circuits.
Excellent video thanks. Real underappreciated heroes of racing 👍🏻👍🏻
Brilliant insight.. like many I have thought about joining the marshalling ranks, but never have.. Looks bloody hard work but also rewarding 👍🏼
High quality content
Thanks CIPHER, good to hear from you again. We're closing in on the magic 100k mark, hopefully not long now.
Cheers, Michael
15 to 20 years i will never forget great people great laughs as well
Nice video! Thank you guys for keeping the riders safe!!
Fantastic guys, these guys work so much and it goes unnoticed. They need more recognition and you guys have done that.
I absolutely love these guys at BH, even the the bloke that caught me with my baffle out on the RSV4. Keep the gooood work going guys and girl 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome a look behind the scenes 👍🏾💯 I love Bennett’s bike
Cheers FRR, always nice to hear from you!
Thanks, Michael
Respect ♡♡
Great insight..still think it’s crazy Marshall’s not getting paid.
Personally I like that we don't get paid because it means we do it for the love of the sport. If there was money it could attract people there for the wrong reasons and wouldn't necessarily give their all.
Anybody please answer me, what is the highest recorded top speed in the British superbike races?
What was the 'juice' she uses to dissolve the oil and fuel? Sounded like ZULU Juice but I can't find it. Old oil spill on my driveway I cannot shift.
Really interesting. Would be good if a link could be included regarding how to become a marshal, I know I’m interested and have no idea how to go about it. After 16 yrs as a police officer I miss being in the thick of it all!! 👍🏻

Sounds like a decent job! Would of thought it would be a seasonal job though?
its not a job as such they do it for the love of the sport no marshals no racing
Its voluntary . Repect to these people, otherwise racing wouldn't happen 👍
With respect, the strap should go through the wheel, the bar,,,😂
