I would not ignore the wisdom and experiences of our elders, especially when I see what is going on in America. I still bank as normal but I'm always keeping an eye out.
    Thanks for this video.

Bluebird prepaid or Serve amex are the best . You can deposit money for free at walmart

Live in the UK and over here there many Fintech companies that are basically prepaid accounts, such as Revolut, Monese and Transferwise. So they are not technically banks and do not have deposit protection but they do not do credit checks or require proof of address when applying for an account, but you will get actual bank account details so you can get paid and pay people electronically like with a normal bank account, but you won't be able to pay in cash or cheques as there are no branches. Wonder if if this is a gap in the market over there.

Loved the video thanks for the information and funny enough I relate with your mother even tho I don't come from China. With the government trying to pass new legislation to monitor bank accounts with transactions over 600$ you helped me find an alternative and put my mind at ease (without judging me either Thank you)

Many of our clients switched over to prepaid ccs during COVID - it worked well for them!

Interesting. Why exactly did COVID ignite the switch?
