Putting address on your resume is super controversial to me. If one is applying to Indeed, or something, there are fake postings that can take that information. Also, you aren't really sure who is looking at your resume either. If their goal is to know where you are so you can make the commute, wouldn't putting a "fake address" near your actual address be enough?

Applying to 50 jobs per day. That sounds tough, I am not going to lie. But let's say I do that. How long would I be doing that? 50 applications per day would mean a lot of work! If I do this everyday with no end, I would go insane. And also, since you seem to be a numbers type, quantitative, analytical person - you have to give me some sort of results I could expect. I mean you don't start a business with zero forecasts, or zero demand. I know it is hard for you to advise as well since there are so many factors like my resume, my industry, etc., but my issue is... Imagine I work hard, sacrifice my mental health, lock in, give it my all, and apply to 50 jobs per day, for a WHOLE MONTH!! And I heard nothing back, I would go mentally insane!

I think you skipped over the part over how you got no work to 5 part time work, "just like that"? How did you get 5 part time jobs so quickly? How did you contact those companies? What did you do to apply to these part time jobs?

Keep it up. Excellent progress. Those who write that they expected more in 2 years should understand that progress in adults is always limited. This is a natural given. To play virtuoso, you need to start at 5 years old, when the pianistic apparatus is formed.

The beginning of the video sounds more like she's bragging about having money and diminishing people who don't (like people who can only afford a keyboard)

Most progress videos are with keyboards exactly because most people can't afford an acoustic piano. Even a used one. Even though she pointed this out as a problem, I don't think it's wrong to start with a keyboard. Yes, it will make it harder to progress further, but when you can only afford a keyboard, I don't think that should be a reason to feel bad or to not try. I currently own a very simple keyboard that I bought with money I saved up as a tutor. I'm a college student. That's all I can do for now, and I am learning as best as I can for now. One day I will have a better piano, and maybe money for a private tutor. Today I don't, and that's okay. This comment means no hate, it's just to motivate people like me, who might not be able to buy a very expensive piano to start learning. You can do it, even if it's with a keyboard for now. ❤

Pay to win...

I have a friend who keeps asking money to borrow. So I give out whatever I can lose. But this time, she called me and says she needs more money from usual she ask for. She explain the situation she is in, how serious it is. I felt really bad for her hearing her story. So I lended 3k to her when she asked for 10k. I told her I am totally broke but I am giving her this cause she will pay back on day after tomorrow. She promised. I told her I am serious and she needs to keep her word. But when the day came, she sent me voicemail asking if I'll be starving of I do not pay today. Oh my Fuck! After that I realized I got fcked. That's it with her. She's no more my friend. I am not expecting it back anymore. She's cutoff forever. It's not about money. It's about trust here. And she broke that and it shows she don't care enough to be grateful how I bear it to help her despite my struggle here. Fck her. She's gone case gone for me.

Isn't Annie just lovely for sharing her story! I related to Annie's situation as a young girl my parents were very hard on me & imposed their beliefs that I had to follow all the rules they had set up for me, besides expecting really good grades as I attended Saint John's the Evangelist in Brooklyn! So to listen to Annie's situation was not only surprising, but great to hear that Annie not only went through similar things but she made her life work for her, made lots of money! I felt lost when I left so young, & worked at jobs where I wasn't paid well! & then I never got the courage to follow my dreams! Her hands are normal from the start already, there are not sticking fingers and other problems. It's very suspicious. Even if she had a teacher. It is not a hands of a complete beginner "Have never learnt piano" ok ok. Anyway, it's a strange moment, that she's playing such easy pieces after 2 years. Like prelude in c major or petzold minuet. But she plays them well. Not like me when i was playing them. (I started learning only when i was 16 and i hadn't a teacher to show me my mistakes at that time, i got a teacher only when i was 22) I always say that is is better to play easier pieces, but play them well, then try to play difficult pieces but play them poorly.

Annie. My associate has never stayed at a job more than a year. The first they quit to start a business after getting discouraged with the 9.00 hour pay and trying to pay their way through college. They then got a job making $40k in collections, but they didn't enjoy the company culture and had trouble hitting quotas daily, so they quit even though they got a bonus at the start of the job for hitting Metrics. They got good quantifiable results at each job but quit for different reasons. Now they have a 3rd job making 14 an hour and they want a better job to be independent. Do they still qualify as a job hopper? All of their jobs where accounts receivable, bookkeeping for a school, and medical billing. They have a bachelor degree in accounting which they hate but are looking for a good accpunting job in order to take care of themselves while starting a business.

I signed up for Bluebird online. i put all my info and everything seems to be going great. but when i clicked on the last option to signup to bluebirds i get an error that says " try again later" did it many times for 4 days and still get that error.

Although Banks are private they still adhere to federal banking laws, these laws written by attorneys for banks, oh the irony. Most Born citizens are aware that most asian businesses are cash businesses, which is Highly American, but the services the govt provide need to be paid for. Those services are highly exploited by immigrants who receive, school free lunch , free dental,free college free health care all because cause they don't claim the cash. which is also highly American... This transparent banking system with a SS number is one way eliminating fraudulent reporting of income,allowing Banks and feds/states to cooperate. This also assigns/contributes to credit scores aiding in accurate lending practices. So what's Fair? proper reporting or improper?

I got same question like u. Haha I been told adult is too late to learn piano. When I was a kid, I tell my parents i want learn piano, but because money too.. can’t afford to buy piano at that time. But now I decide to learn and no regrets.

“Didn’t have to wait until rich to do it” proceeds to buy a $15k piano. There are many digital pianos (not keyboards) that have key action similar to an acoustic piano (mine cost $700 and is connected to a PA system). Works just fine (organ sounds are a plus) - now I wish I could buy some talent - one soul for sale 😂

I'm going to test it starting tomorrow! 50 jobs everyday for a week🎉🎉

Bluebird Debit is OK until you have to contact customer service. They are a oversea call center. Poor English skills and virtually no ability to help. I'm having a problem with the card being declined. Talked to 6 people over 3 days. No help, told not to use any service that uses a chip reader! Really, no chip reader, try using a ATM. Use swipe readers only. Tried swipe at Walmart, declined, called from Walmart, on the phone for 45 minutes. They said I needed to go to a different merchant. AmEx is destroying their brand beings associated with these losers.

I hate working for others. Its been allways like that, even if I like the job. I need to start my own small business as soon as possible. I allways knew, its the only option for me. And Im not motivated much by money either, I want freedom and working towards my own goals. Also, Im not afraid of uncertainty like most people, I have allways lived kind of in uncertainty and understand that in life nothing is certain or lasting.
