I'm very relieved to learn that they have done a good job opening up the gameplay and world. I was really wondering what they could accomplish with a sequel.

shuriken being a core ability now instead of having a frankly insane cooldown, as well as being able to block shots instead of being parry only, really make this game feel much more badass than the first
it just make it easier for the casual audience, learning the timing and actuality pulling off the party on bullets in GR1 actually made you feel like a badass, not just hold a button
@apexiw unironically, at times it felt more stressful than the first game (especially with the dismantler fight)

It's astounding how much influence Mirror's Edge had on the industry
I want more Mirror's Edge. The focus on free running, and incentive to avoid combat was so fun and well done.
If only it had an influence on EA
It did have some well known devs and cutting edge tech.

KC is such a good vibes positivity gem - really helps counteract the snark The Escapist is more known for
I love when developers add a plot summary of the first game into the second. (maybe I'll replay the first one?)
The designs of the other characters really do need better work to make em a lil more distant and better facial animation
But its cool to actually see that the devs really went out of their ally to add that despite it needing a little more work
Absolutely loved the 1st one! Happy too hear this one is good too, especially since im holding off on 2077 til next year.
So Mirror's Edge meets Genji from Overwatch. I could get down with that.

this game is incredibly hard even on normal, i had an extremely hard time with the controller learning curve plus all abilities that you need to master, i feel as it the have thrown a lot of concepts at the player to learn

Loved the original, quietly pessimistic about this one since the demo raised quite a few concerns related to both gameplay and performance, thank you for the review I think I'll sit on the fence for a little bit at least.
Yea I'm not sure how I feel about stamina for deflects or anything really in such a fast-paced game.
Imagine if Sekiro had a stamina bar.
Do you guys think that the Brutal edition is worth it or just the base edition?

I was terrible at first game, but in it good balance. Only bosses difficult, but still not very

The 1-hit deaths really keep me from getting into this series. I don't have pitch perfect timing anymore. I'm in my 40's lol, I can't redo the same section over and over until I get it just right. No time for that anymore.
its not about the age, memorize the pattern to dodge each enemy and it doesn't become a game of reaction

It's definitely one of the games of this year.
This looked incredible until you mentioned death in one hit, I do not have the patience for a game where you die so easily…
You respawn instantly and the checkpoints are generous.
Just use a trainer to get a chill ott bad ass experience without the irritation of constant death and respawn.
The Ghostrunner games are so insanely lame, does the tool with the sword have to run around with it hanging out, or is it a sexual thing?
