Being stuck in doors for years I really feel on holiday myself with my family lol. One word MAGIC
I'm very impressed with the quality and range of the food available there! Although, I do like to eat out at a Greek Taverna with the locals. A nice sea view and a Cool beer, heaven! 😊

I stayed in Rhodes 20 years ago, absolutely loved it until I made the mistake of sleeping under the stars on the roof of our lovely guest house. As a side note, I thought the area I was in was beautiful with red lights above the doors to brighten the narrow passages and they'd taken their time to name the apartments with female names. I think they were Greek or Roman godesses or something.
I woke up with bites all over.
First off all, I wish to thank the both of you
for working so hard, vlogging and editing your holiday for us all to enjoy 😊
Those pesky mosquitoes 🦟 when they seen Martin they signalled to each other saying:
“C’mon all ya can eat buffet here” 😅
I remember staying in a hotel in Koz the Greek island not so far away from Rhodes, in the evening I sat on the balcony in the cool air, I didn’t close our balcony doors to our room, big mistake, the lights from our room attracted the mozzies, when I looked up at the ceiling it was filled with them.
I run to reception and ask them to spray mozzie spray in our room before I slept.
But unfortunately I was all ya can eat buffet for them whilst sitting on the balcony that night.
The next day I bought a can of mozzie spray from the supermarket, I sprayed my room every evening before I went out for evening meal & entertainment.
I also bought the Greek lemon cologne ( the splash bottle cologne) I splashed it on my hands, my face and my ankles, it smelled absolutely gorgeous, I felt stimulated and refreshed after a shower, it also act’s like a sanitiser, the mozzies hate it, I never had another bite.
The only problem is it’s cheap in Greece but expensive if I wanted to buy it in the UK .
Martin shhhh!! Don’t tell Sharon when you arrange with the hotel receptionist to arrange two beautiful swans made from the towels on your bed , with beautiful rose petals as a surprise for your babe’s “ wink 😉 😉

Yum yum! Could easily book that hotel for a holiday what a great food selection. I got bitten loads last month in spain, for years we have used bottle spray called incognito and i forgot it this year so the mozzies had a feast! Ohhh and I hope you don't think I'm sticking my nose in bit if you're really bothered by the mosquito bites, get a bottle of surgical spirit and dab them. Takes the itch right out and they won't get infected if you've scratched them. Any chemist will stock it ❤

Loving Greece ....if you've time , pop into the " old town " seek out the silversmiths ....watch their work they make the most amazing pieces of jewellery....

Martin i sympathize with you on the bites, i live in Spain and this year has been bad! You need some spray called Smidge, small bottle so it's easy to take around with you and the only thing that saved me this year. Enjoy your holiday, thanks for taking us along but we wouldn't be mad if you had a few days off, we can binge on older content.😊

Understand the bites. They love me. Ive had a terrible reaction to bites in the past , had to get medical attention and wasnt allowed to travel home as I got quite ill, that was in Thailand though. Recently I was in Mallorca {Alcudia}for a week and was fine, no bites and only on the day I travelled home I got 3 bites around the Airport area as we went shopping. Really feel for you. Do antihistamines work, never understood why some get bitten, some do not, 1 of my daughters eaten alive, the other not 1 bite, we all say sweet blood, but who knows, scientists I suppose

There is an area near to me that was notorious for Mossie's....eating out in the evening was just about impossible... no amount of mossy repellent, citronella would keep the little buggers from feeding on the customers....

Hey Guys some friends of ours told us about Jet2 Holidays @ the Sunshine Hotel on Rhodes & we were then told you guys were there 5 months ago so we got it up on you tube & Martin had us in fits of laughter he was so funny Calling the Restaurants CANTEEN!!? 21 times in 40 mins!!? Common as Muck or what have you No decorum or what So funny the tears were Running down my Legs lol xxxx😂

The hotel room looked more modern than yours but nothing to shout about. Don't get me wrong, I'd happily stay in either room but the price would have to be right.

The hotel your in is lovely with very good food selection the black leather chairs look lovely to sit on, see the Mosquitos dining well on Martins leg's certainly qualifies' as a full metal jacket.

Not sure if the Greek plumbing use the same waste pipe work sizing as the Turkish ones. But when they say careful how you flush . (They are not joking) lol. Food is looking top notch.
Ouch I bet they feel itchy. You will need some Avon moisture cream , it turns them about., and leaves you, lovely selection of food I must say. I bet that pork tastes like it used to here years ago. Before all the tastiness was removed. I love mulacarorine soup. spelling not correct. Sorry. .

My husband got mosquito bites, best thing to prevent it is citronella spray,
Sharon my parents incase there wasn't a kettle would take a potable element with appropriate plugs. Plug it in and boil water in the cup works a treat
