Thanks Patricia, Yes there is so many personalities that die young for one reason or another. If i wanted to be famous i would think long and hard about it. I might just say no to fame and live alot longer. Jerry
Great stuff Jerry...great stuff. When I was just a kid and Elvis was just beginning, the fan magazines were on fire with photos of Elvis from his childhood. I never kept a scrapbook of singers or movie stars but I started one on Elvis! There was just so many photos out there and we cut every one of them out and pasted them into a book! In a span of two years I had filled two books and they weren't small scrapbooks either. They were the typical ones used back in the day. I have no idea what happened to them but I sure wish I had thought to save them for posterity! I thought surely I had seen most of what was made available to the public but you've given us pictures I've never seen before! Thanks...once again!.
I read where he was told by the Grand ole opry manager to go back to driving a truck he was no singer! Wow what a mistake that man made, the rest is history ! TCB
