Right after Elvis died, a slew of scandalous and untrue books started coming out about Elvis. Priscilla, who was the only one with legal standing to sue for him, made a public statement that she would NEVER sue for him, no matter what anyone said or wrote about him. After the awful Goldman book, fans were demanding she sue, and I was one of the ones who got a form letter from he saying that she would not sue. There was a guy on the radio here who used to work for the Enquirer, and he said that because Priscilla had said she would never sue, "you can say anything you want to about Elvis Presley."
So on top of the authors and videomakers who promote lies against him, you can thank Priscilla, who could have stopped it but refused.
