Looks like a nice easy installation but like I was saying in your other video the reflector housing with the LED is no bueno. You could see in the picture of the two bulbs against your garage door. The halogen has a nice, clean cutoff line at the top where as the LED is just a fuzzy blob, and that was at like 6ft. So coming down the road, that is throwing light EVERYWHERE. So now, not only do you have a bulb that is SUPER BRIGHT but it does not have a clean cutoff, throws light all over the place and looks to cause a huge amount of glare. Not trying to take the piss out of it, but this is why I HATE these universal fit kits. Good way to blind oncoming traffic in a normal car, let alone a taller SUV.
Unfortunately, lots of people just associate not being able to see well at night, with not having bright enough bulbs. Really that is only part of the equation. Then add in all these companies that throw out various color lights, super high lumen, super cheap, etc. and now we have everyone running around with bulbs that are ill fit for the job ON TOP of blinding others on the road. To save the other drivers on the road, I highly recommend removing the bulbs until you upgrade to a proper projector housing made for these things. Plenty of info on MUD for the retro fit into the stock housing. And plenty of videos on here why you shouldn't put universal LED/HID/etc. bulbs in halogen housings.
Yup! Like I mentioned to you before your right, for me right know it's not a big issue being this is just my toy and not my daily driver at night. I might look into retro fitting them later down the line and will do an install video. Cheers bro and as always thanks for watching and your input!
And if the much more expensive brands like Phillips and narva made leds alot cheaper than I suspect everyone would be using those more so than the cheaper ebay and Amazon jobs as a much higher quality product and not blinding other traffic so don't blame the consumers blame the product producers and sellers for overpricing their products
LASFIT- right on! will do the lights to thanks brutha - Keep the vids coming!
don’t you think all that comments about the product packaging were irrelevant and childish
Thanks for your person feedback! 😎👍🏽
thanks awesome video
Glad you liked it!
I'm curious about the bulb life... Is it still going strong? It's good to know that not only do they have heat sinks but also a fan. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching the video! Yes, they are still working great! Have'nt had any issuses with the headlight ones. The fogs ones went out but thats my doing of putting my LC into water lol.
How did you access the bulbs on your driver side headlight? For me it’s hard to get to because of the battery
Just remove the battery if it's in your way.
@@MisterMemo ok thanks
@@jackkercher7665 not to tough to install but take your time! 😎👍🏼
Same bulb with the LX?
Ray_xplore I believe the LX being a projector style headlight it will be a different size then the Land Cruisers.
I'd take halogen over this LED bulb, all day long.
I would do HID's overall. ;)
Should of did the fog lights to looks good tho enjoying the channel
Steve Adams i did! 😉👍🏼 look under my land cruiser playlist!
I added s2000 Honda projectors to mine. in the fog light housing.
Is it legal mate? Another one blinding people at night with aftermarket unsuitably bright lights. That’s why I have a 50” rigid light bar on my roof rack to teach people some lessons in headlight brightness etiquette.
I don't drive my Land Cruiser often maybe once a month if that at night and it's not my daily driver. Using a your 50" light bar on a street /road is for sure not legal! ;)
@@MisterMemo its not legal for sure but what is one to do when an idiot with an aftermarket bulbs 10 times brighter than factory blinds you from 2km away and thinks everything is alright because he is not using his longbeams?
@@hzj7920 all true stuff! Not everyone is perfect in this world. I upgraded my headlight housing about a year ago and currently back using halogen bulbs for everyone’s safety. 😉
good for you horrible for against traffic!!! killing
Yes, LED’s aren’t meant for factory halogen style headlights. #foroffroaduseonly
Nicee, New friend here ❤❤❤❤❤👍👍🔔
