  • I wasn't going to post this, but I think every good travel story, also needs a tough one! This is my attempt to reach the top of Africa! I still had a great time exploring the city of Bizerte as it is still the northern most city in Africa! Thanks for watching everybody and I'll see you all next week!

Sorry for the bad experience you encountered with the taxi driver. I am sure many Tunisians would help and give you directions if you ask, a good way i guess is to post on your social media for your next destination and many people would be happy to guide you . Sorry again 🙏 😊

A small advice in Tunisia, try to avoid buses as they are very slow and Taxi's as they will sometimes scam you, but get what we call Louage "Lu'aaj" which is by the spot or commun taxi, the will take between cities quick and cheap, also renting a car for the day is not that expensive.

Just clarification regarding the history of the fortress of bizerte , spanish started building it than was completed by othmans after the victory against spanish . And you missed the older byzantin fortress ‘called sidi el henni’ it acts like a cultural cafe and museum now.

We are sorry for what happened to you brothers There are many young men who can take you wherever you want in Tunisia for free and shiw you around. You have to look for them on the Internet. Because public transportation is bad, renting a car would be better I advise you to visit the south, such as the island of Djerba, and visit the Berber village Cheninni..Tunisia is one of the safest places in the world, so do not worry and you will be surprised by the many wonderful places to visit🇹🇳

Hhhhhh I like the way you pronounced Bizerte with the spanish accent .....when giving instruction to a taxi driver you will need to be precise so you do not get scammed. You could have asked any local. They speak very well English not like in other countries like Turkey where you will have trouble speaking to people because they only speak their language. If you have spoken to any Tunisian he woukd have driven you to where you wanted to go without charge. People there are very open and welcoming

And High five for your positive humble perception to the unfortunate event.
Different from other judgemental arrogant tourists.
Scam happens everywhere. Please always reach out to normal citizens. Some taxis ,services agencies may take advantages of the situation. Cheers
