He either got a point for fulfilling the challenge and subsequently lost one because it was the same character Garnt got and ended up with 0 and Garnt lost 1 for matching. Or they agreed it didn’t fit the challenge and lost one for not completing the challenge and Garnt lost 0. 2. The among us red character is a different character, fight me.
3. It would have been nice to have them maybe all lined up and a panned shot where you could see the details of the figures at the end. I can understand doing proper B-roll might be too much extra work for what is technically a podcast but just a final close up pan (minus the demonetizing figures) would have been nice. Especially since some weren’t full unboxed or only on scene for a brief flash.
Really, really enjoyed this overall though. Definitely interesting to see each boys perspective on the same thing on their channel. I loved seeing all the stores and figures even if I have no idea what most of them are from😅 would love to see further iterations or challenges like this in the future!

Garnt, not only is airsoft okay for CZcams, there are entire channels based around airsoft reviews and tutorials lol. The fact you bought a (what I'm guessing through the blur is) Tokyo Marui Type 89 J.S.D.F GBBR for like, 300 bucks, is actually hilarious to me, because I sell them here in Canada for closer to 900.
And if you want to see what the airsoft community is like in Japan, THE LITERAL MOTHERLAND OF AIRSOFT, you and the boys should go. Make it a challenge! Head to S&Graf in Akihabara, and see who can make the most Dripped out kit, and then go to an outdoor field that does gun rentals and play! You would be, probably not surprised at how much cosplay goes on in the Japanese airsoft scene. But considering Japan is its birth place, and Tokyo Marui is like, the grandfather brand of all airsoft guns (pretty much literally) I'm surprised you didn't know airsoft was another Japanese thing, that Americans got WAAAAAY to into haha
There are tiers to CZcams monetisation. It’s not an ON or OFF thing. For example, weight lifting and body building channels are monetised technically but make a fraction of video game channels make because of their association to steroid use. I’m certain CZcams flagging a video as even tangentially “gun related” isn’t going to bring in the best advertisers.

I'm an actual practicing lawyer well-versed in Among US law. I do agree that there are different characters in Among Us represented by the different colors. So I don't think the red plush would count to lose points. However, I think Joey needed to open up each individual Among Us box and subtract for duplicates. There's no way he could unilaterally count that as one figure when he decided to buy the whole set without knowing which colors were actually in it.

Each color from AmongUs is a different character, but for each character that Joey got in the box that was a duplicate within the box he should probably lose a point because it's a box of 12 figures.

The whole point was that there was too situations. Conner bought a weird Shinkansen Eva while grant bought a regular Eva unit 1. In order for Conner to get the point for that it would mean that the train is the same character as Eva 1. Which would nullify conners point for the movie and mean grant loses a point. Or alternatively they could have said that the train wasn’t the character because there was no weird train thing in the movie which would mean Conner would not have gotten the point and garnt wouldn’t have lost anything. Either way it doesn’t affect conners score. The among us ones are actually different characters though. When you go into Medbay, they have different IDs

Watch thre three shopping spree videos in any order, then wait a day or two to watch this episode, forgetting what happened in the first episodes in the process. Then when they start revealing what they bought, you are also surprised with the other boys while also being reminded of the context of that purchase. Totally a foolproof method and not because I forgot to finish watching this episode
