- Spending two weeks in the Mojave Desert with its spiders and scorpions would deter a lot of people, but safe in his M2A3 Bradley fighting vehicle, Specialist Damien Baird of the US Army's Blackhorse regiment is a happy man.
Not everyone shares his view of the Bradley, although what some people see as the vehicle's weaknesses, Spc Baird sees as its strengths.
"It's loud, it's big, it kicks up a lot of dust," explained Spc Baird, from Apache 410 Troop, one of Blackhorse's recon elements.

Its always better to ride to battle than to walk to battle
death before dismount
Professional soldier AND a professional singer. High quality man in one package lol
Thanks man 😂
I was a machinist on the Bradley...they were made at FMC in San Jose, CA from 1985-1990 approx.
It seems in the terrain of Ukraine, the Bradley holds its own very well. It helps the troops very well.
Not really.. they turn out to be useless.
@@ahmedalsharman Oh yes? That is why they kick the russian 'counter part' apart, why they have proven their worth on the battlefield!
@@alanmcmillan6969 you must be getting your information from unreliable & Propaganda source .. the truth is they are no special, Artillery , drones and landmines destroy them easily.
@@alanmcmillan6969 Woah the bots are really active here
The Ukrainians have given the Brad very good reviews in combat
The Russian destroyed most of them using Land mine & Drones
@@ahmedalsharman source?
@@DirtyMikeandTheBoys69 do you live under a rock or something.. just Google Ukraine failed counteroffensive and you will see few dozens of them destroyed
@@DirtyMikeandTheBoys69 Try Googling a bit. Or if you want a direct source, try Oryx - a pro Ukrainian source. According to that around 30 M2A2 Bradleys destroyed and more than 30 damaged. In reality the actual number is higher than that.
@@ahmedalsharmanOk Mr. Ahmed Al Sharman....whatever you say....
The basic design is old. The main gun is small compared to newer designs. The TOW missiles are outdated. But sensors and sights have been continually improved. Which is very important.
But a replacement is needed. And it's happening currently.
The Bradley is the worlds best IFV that has been combat proven the most. Two Bradleys just managed to disable/destroy a Russian T-90M in Ukraine as they manuvered and took out the tanks systems with the 25mm cannon. There is acutal footage of the incident which makes it even more incredible. Bradleys taking out tanks with the TOW is common but first time I seen it with the cannon. Also, the Bradley has proven vital to saving lives when compared to the death trap that is Russian equivalents.
just saw that video and I came here. Such a powerful machine , America has the best tech in the world man.
@@soulfulmaple Certainly one of best well regarded IFVs.
It is so true. A moving foxhole does attract the eye.
Cool
In addition... Bradleys can create smoke screens by dumping fuel on the exhaust.
BUT, it has a dozen smoke grenade launchers surrounding the vehicle that can hide the silhouette in as little as TWO seconds.
same with some versions of the abrams, its pretty helpful in war thunder lol
I was expecting a McD in the back.
Bradley’s are great vehicles. The gun/optic system is accurate and deadly.
Why M2 Bradley don't use FGM-148 Javelin??
Those babies are indespensible
I still have a "Bradley Bite" on my left shin and wear it with pride. I was a 27E and repaired the TOW missile guidance sysyems. Its a rattle trap and and the nightsights for the TOW were always going down. That was my job.
I loved it and see why yhis soldier has pride in his Bradley❤.....Do they still float?🤔
.....ha! talk about a clusterfxk😂 Rock of the Marne 3ID!
and then you woke up and went to your job at Walmart
@@richardnixon4345
Ha! Yeah, no! I wake up and make a line of hemp clothing here in Hawaii I sell at the farmers markets and avoid Walmart at all costs. Sooo
Shuuuuuuut up&back up soldier.

Carry on😁
Misleading click bait. This soldier did not seem to dislike the Bradley or have any serious complaints.
air conditioning😊
He literally said “I love it” too 😂. I’m starting to really hate CZcams
yu can blame the British, as usual
Perhaps the title got changed, currently it's called why the US army soldiers love the M2A3 Bradley.
Wouldn't be the first time British tabloids posted something with a misleading title. 😂
Get have there names on their wagons.
This video feels more like a roast and what to not be like😂
I'd rather be in a Bradley then a Tank any day. It could perform the same task. It's lighter and faster!
Second to none.
cv90 is so much better
two bradleys one abram tank togetherfriends coming to ukraine
Why not US army soldiers.
The Bradley has far too high a profile and as mentioned below the @TOW' is out dated for what I see it's designed role. However it has it's uses.
We do recon by force. Our cavalry units are designed to be spotted by the enemy, so enemy will come out and fight. The Bradley is perfect for that. All other nations and the USMC use their recon for observation and reporting.
Yeah, the TOWs guidance system was always needing repair. They needed upgrades from the old TVM and ISU's and the Antas5 nightsights were always going outa alignment..sooooo outdated now.🙏
27E, 3ID Rock!
I was a 94Y MOS (IFTE), I know more about the TOW than you. The TOW opsight you are referring to has been upgraded long ago @abbywinters7751
@@brianb5543I notice that both the tiw and Bradley get lots of love for the men who actually used them. Lots of armchair haters.
@@brianb5543
I'm sure you know more about everything! Was just saying they needed upgrading back in 1996😂

Bradley Square in Ukraine shows these are just steel on tracks
Give all Bradley vehicles to Ukraine now. Restart the production line to deliver 1,000 units per month to Ukraine. Fund it with tax increases.
production doesn’t need to be restarted, the US have only supplied Ukraine with ~200 M2 Bradleys out of ~5000 that the US has. The ODS version they gave to Ukraine is the old version (post-Operation Desert Storm), not the most modern M2A3 version in this video
Do you realize how many are in storage?
Tax increases? How about you join the Ukrainian international legion if you want to fight for them so badly.
The production line is up and running. Don't know what you guys are talking about.
Tax increases on Ukraine?
This thing is no better then other countries.ifvs. It did real good against fighters with AK_47s and some RPGs. Only action it has seen against a well equipped military is in Ukraine. And Russia has took out 30% or more of their Bradley's.
I remember when Russian bots used to make sense
Bradley badly designed vehicle
They love this AFV and the main reason is that it is so easy to be destroyed by Russian soldiers so they can ask congress to buy new ones.
We send out Cav BFV's like Judas goats. This bobo Cav scout brags about it, when all he is, is bait, to lead the enemy main force into our trap.
Shut up bot
Yea da Russians love ' em too😂
