Extreme E is a radical new racing series which will see eSUVs compete in the most remote corners of the planet that have been impacted by climate change.
As the first sport built out of concern for the climate crisis, the series’ goal is to use electric racing to highlight remote environments under threat of climate change issues, and to encourage us all to take positive action to protect our planet’s future. - Sport
Johan is a monster behind a wheel, Carlos El matador Sainz also a legend.
When the car doesn't break like last year we have spectacular races and battles.

Wow!!!! That 2nd last corner. Amazing line. What a drive for Kristoffersson especially after Mikaleae's clash with Tanner. Obviously not their fault but to come back and win it. Love that for them!

Amazing weekend! A lot of action and dramatic moments. Sad that Veloce had so much bad luck. And a speedy recovery to Christine. Johan amazing as always. What a fantastic finish!
Kristoffersson is worth every penny. He destroyed everybody in last lap.
He's 4 times World Rallycross champion, neither a Dakar Rally winner nor a rally driver (whatever accompished he is)can compete with him..

He dominated in Rally Cross, and now dominated in Extreme E. Kristofferson is the GOAT of off-road racing.
When he can beat Leduc in Pro 4 I'd be more willing to have the discussion. He's amazing I'll give you that.
Tanner is awesome and as an American I feel great to be represented by him.
I wrote this before watching the final and now seeing the final I don’t feel any different he is the best
He has the balls for sure. For now, Johan is in a league of his own. But I'm sure when Tanner is more used to the car he'll be a serious threat
Give Leduc more time and his driving talent will raise him to the top.

Awesome start to the year! Glad to see that the cars are holding up so well. So much talent on one track makes these races a treat to watch.
Extreme E has come in Forza Horizon 5. Honestly isn’t the best of choices for FH5 and there’s so many varieties of the same car 😂 it’s silly honestly but personally I like a little change. It’s an electric rally raid car. And I like the sounds they make :) this race was also quite competitive I did feel some tension

At the end there with rxr on the chase of x44 and the drone footage, it reminded me of old cartoons, Saber Rider, first episode and the desert race.
Literally the same feeling seeing those cartoons in my youth.

Very captivating sport. Driver's skill consists in maintaining the vehicle's stability and direction without losing kinetic energy to sideways movements and such. The cars are super-cool and I anticipate a new class of production vehicle.

Not a racing person at all but watching these races genuinely felt like the future. I guess the electronic cars means that they can have races in places that wouldn't normally be possible. The potential is huge. The drone shots were phenomenal too. Its such a cool idea and really fun to watch.

I really like this series wonder if we might get an EV version of lamans that would really give us something to watch as racers use batteries for 24 hours I feel like they should remake the super off road series for the new systems and put in a storyline like with motorstorm apocolips but instead of gas we have EV trucks that would be cool.

@@edthri yeah pretty much no affect. Still kinda annoying to see that some people think that they only won due to being slightly lighter. Johan's driving is what got them the win
