P.S: That also goes for Formula E, make the gear electricity safe first and fire resistant second. Assest the risks using your historical data and then dessing the protective gear acording to them. 99% of hydrogen is made from methane/natural gas in a process that consumes a huge amount of electricity (most generated from burning fossil fuels). Stripping the carbon from methane (CH4) releases huge amounts of CO2. Then the H2 is compressed and transported by special diesel trucks to the few expensive H2 fueling stations. Green hydrogen is made through electrolysis of water, using hopefully renewable electricity, so it's very expensive, and still must be transported by diesel truck to H2 filling stations. Very inefficient because you could just use the electricity to charge EV batteries directly. H2 cars also have batteries.

Almost all H2 is made from methane (a fossil fuel) releasing CO2 as a byproduct. A very tiny portion is made using electric hydrolysis (a very inefficient and expensive way to produce H2)-it's much more efficient to just use that electricity to power the car directly (with batteries). My solar + battery system provides all the electricity that my all-electric house and my electric car use. Extreme E should be just as environmentally friendly. I understand that the oil & gas industry has heavily promoted with $multi-millions the use of hydrogen to keep their business thriving as gasoline use declines, lobbying governments and subsidizing auto manufacturers to build H2 cars. Please explain where your hydrogen comes from and why H2-powered cars are more environmental than BEVs.

SO happy to see alternative fuels being embraced more openly by professional racing. I think its far better for the future of racing and the earth.

Definitely seems better than the Odyssey 21. Love the central driving seat. I'd be interested to know how much it weighs.
