We're in Turkey, on the D-915, one of the Most dangerous roads in the world, with a Rally Car driven by five-time Turkish Rally Championship winner Yağız Avcı and the legendary Kamaz truck driven by pilot Dmitry Sotnikov - two-time Silk Way Rally champion.
Full blast on the endless bends and hairpins of that singular road.
The chrono is on, and at the end of the stage it's time to...

Built by Turks and Russians together in 1915, the terrifying hairpin bends on the foot of Soganli Mountain are seen as one of the toughest road challenges. But nothing's too big for the two drivers.
Who'll take the lead on that one?
Avcı revealed: "It was quite a risky track that did justice to its notoriety. The track was quite dangerous, but also very exciting and competitive. It was a high-adrenaline challenge with plenty of tight and hairpin bends, pushing the limits of the car and tyres. Stones and rocks created fewer problems for it (Sotnikov's Kamaz - Master truck) than for me. Our exhilarating race was a nice contribution to the story of the road."

This video and the link above are simply 2:45 seconds of worthless babbling about nothing and 0:15 of actual driving cut up into so many clips that it rendering the who video worthless.

It's really not look at other dangerous roads especially in north easter Indian Himalayas they are fucked up the height is insane from the ground and the sea level.

aan army truck is very slow. I've heard driving more than 90 km per hour is a problem, and gear changing is hard and takes time. This sports machine is built of very different components.

Kamaz-master has such balls of steel that even Putin was waiting for February, otherwise the guys would not understand, and they would be very upset if they were also canceled.

All 4 Fun what’s the difference in the 2 cars? Different spec?
Douglas Conner yeah the difference is quite big even tho they both are based on the Fiesta ST, the WRC car is the top of rallying, more technology, more electronics, the body of the car is wider and more aerodynamic, wider turbo intake and it has 390hp while the r5 has around 290hp and less of the points I mentioned before, and even visually they're quite different.
Also R5 cars have 5 gears while WRC cars have 6 gears
You can compare it to Formula 1 and Formula 2

A very dangerous road, but perhaps not quite as dangerous as some of the roads busses traverse daily in Nepal. I remember looking out the window on a chartered bus to Tamang once to see no road edge - it had slipped overnight - and clouds below us through which I was convinced we were going to fall as the bus lurched and tilted more and more towards the chasm. There are other types of danger - driving on any single lane road in mountainous China will take your breath away for all the wrong reasons. Blind overtaking at speed on wet, narrow roads with big drops and no guard rails makes your life flash past you too. Great vid in any case!

I've seen bloggers on YT buy used machines after the Dakar because of modernizations in the Kamaz-master team. Also, why do you need one? For which purpose? It has awful fuel consumption.

Sounds like a nice drive; might go to my local this weekend : same height gain 536m, over 7km - so yeah less slope, and only 9 hairpins; but quite pretty and rare bits of erosion are never as much as 0.5m deep; just as narrow, but if you drive off the edge a tree will surely stop you falling further.
In 1915 this road was used by the Turkish army for transporting thousands of Armenians to the Black sea in order to mass drown them. Just one of the horrors of the Armenian Genocide.
