I really have missed you guys! Glad to hear your voice and to see that beautiful painting with varnish. Love, love, love the end result❣️🤗☀️👍🏼
I promise I will be here more often when all is back to normal ^^
Hello Michael and Patrick, lovely to hear from you again. A wonderful result looks amazing. I look forward to more videos soon. Stay safe from your Western Australian fan 😍😍💖💖💖💖👌👌👌👌
thank you so much and also stay safe on your end!! Things are almost back to normal here...
Hi my dear Michael and Pat, happy to see another video!!!
Hope you are both staying safe, happy (and sane lol)!!!
I love how the top coat brought out the sheen, I could even see the shine in the gold when the sun hit it right ♥
Yeah we are safe...sane....well...others will have to judge that ;DD But things are almost back to normal here in Germany.
@@MKLGRMFineArt Happy to hear you are both doing well ♥
Lol at your "sane" comment ^_^
So glad you used the deco art top coat to demonstrate. I have a large bottle of it and was afraid to try because I wasn’t sure the outcome. Now I know... lol. Beautiful painting. Thanks for sharing.
I sooo much love it!!! I can only get the tiiiiiiny bottles here and they are expensive....The TopCoat is amazing!! Once applied make sure you put your painting somewhere save and the cooler the better. the slower it dries the less likely anything happens with the layer.
Looks maxing. Yes, we have missed you.
Can't wait to see more videos!
It turned out beautifully Michael. Hugs to you and Patrick, stay well :)
hugs back to you and keep care
That turned out great. When I tried the top coat, it didn't work that great. I will have give it another try. I am glad that you guys are doing good and are busy. Hopefully you will be doing more painting soon. I miss you guys.
I miss the youtube time as well...I had never thought that this pandemic will crush my time so badly....working hours were and are intense and in he evening I more then often just could not motivate me doing anything... :(
Love that shine! 😍
only the gold went lost in the ribbon ^^
The blues are stunningly gorgeous💗so happy to hear your voice and that you’re safe and sound💗 I’ll never give up on you💗 you and Patrick stay well🤗😘🥰
Likewise my dear!! I am slowly coming back into drawing and painting mood...the last weeks and months were crazy busy at work...I hope the summer season will calm down a bit...
Awesome, thank you
We miss you!! 😢
same!!! time is so short currently :(((
missed you! where's Patrick? I miss him too. stay safe guys. Love from canada
he is around but busy as well :) There is no more big holiday this year so there is nothing to travel vlog about :/
Beautiful 😍
thank you Monica :))
I am really enjoying your videos! As for the deco art varnish, could you thin it a little with water? I have done that with my liquitex varnish and it flows much better. But I usually then have to repeat one more time. You are a great artist and I really think it's because of where you are located that makes sales more difficult. If you were in North America, I am from Canada, I am positive you would sell your beautiful works of art a lot. You have a gift!
Thank you so much :))) yes you can thin it down a bit more with water and it works just fine :) when it comes to sales…i agree…most of my sales are to the US but since corona kicked in, shipping has become a thing…Takes forever to arrive :/
i miss u too...:)
Ahhhh, that turned out so beautifully!!! If I might ask, I did have one canvas that I used the Topcoat on that seemed to stay just a tiny bit tacky. Have you run into that? It was only one canvas that I had re-poured 3 times. Could be just a cursed canvas 😄 I'm still surprised that gold didn't pop more for you 🤔 But I love the piece as it is!! Those blues are yummy! Big hugs and love to you & Patrick! 😘💕
so far the topcoat is among the varnishes that never disappointed me. It never cracks when drying slowly and also never had any tacky-issues with it....worked brilliantly so far....but when it stays...I loved using Gamvar. It actually is an oil painting varnish but it works great there as well. It is thinner then water but you can simply brush it on your painting and once dry the tackyness (is that a word?) should be gone :)
@@MKLGRMFineArt I'll try that, thank you! Interesting that it was only one canvas that reacted that way, but life is full of little oddities 😄
Such a beautiful piece 💙 may I ask if you left it to dry flat, or at an angle. I have a bottle and it says to leave at a 45 degree angle. I'm too nervous to try it yet.....
Di Carey Flat. I did my very first piece as they ask on the bottle and it wasted sooo much of the varnish as it just dripped off. I used way less of course but then I thought bout leaving it flat testing if it dries without cracking and it worked perfectly :)
