What she has done in last two years is catapult college woman's basketball to highest level to date. I see Iowa making a deep run but I think Catlin will come up short in tournament

shes going to be the one to change everyones mind- and their spending- about womens basketball.
at first there will be resentment and jealousy- but in time i hope other players will see she wil raise all their incomes with her presence.

Why not build the wnba organically? Iowa has a basketball culture too. They produce stars why not have a franchise there.

There would be no WNBA without money from the NBA, just facts. And currently, pro sports ticket prices are so high, many peopl e just don't go and many quit watching for the same reason. As a Hawkeye, I hope she does good, but, I think she be fine on endorsements and that's where the money is.
